Dev-Shiva

I think yesterday Gaumbi rightfully pointed out that these brothers are nothing but kids at heart. No matter how much I crib about the man child trope of Pandya store, occasionally these men embezzle my heart. The revelation assortment today being Dev, who voiced all the discussions that we had about Shiva and Ravi‘s childhood connection, and Dev silently shutting himself away from two people occupied with each other.

Gautam had pointed out earlier that Shiva’s world kept spiralling around Ravi, and we also caught a glimpse of how Ravi and her diary entries had Shiva in most of her pages. It’s interesting to see that every time she mentioned Dev, there is also an observation of Shiva.

I am glad that the makers are not taking the regular “now that we are married and let’s be in love” route!

I am delighted that they are trying to explore the childhood anthology. We've mostly trolled Dev, but today, he came across as the most sensible human being.

Well, nothing could cheer up Shiva except a challenge thrown at him. I like the dynamics where we see a tiny hint of sibling rivalry, and undercurrent of covetousness from Shiva. From adolescence too, we see Shiva constantly trying to be the elder brother of Dev and not the other way round. These two had my heart today!

The way Dev expressed his woes in front of Shiva was heart touching too!

Look at Dev 😆

" Biwi ne do baathein kehdi, dhaaru peen shuru kardhi, Aur issab se mein chalun, ghar me daaru ki dhukan kulwana pad jaayegi"😆

And he called himself a side character and he again apologized to Shiva😃

I want to see a Jeeva-Kathir in Dev-Shiva relationship😃

I actually accepted his sorry waay back when Shiva did in the haveli. Today's episode was just something nice and extra to add to the story ❤.

I love love his moments with his brothers, the pandya brothers together are love, Dev and Rishita are okay too - Rishita is annoying for sure but has some sort of personality.

Personally, my issue is that I still find him blah and meh, a little dull to watch, I can easily zone out when he's talking or start skipping his scenes had it not been for the other characters. Perhaps it is poor character development but that's how I feel. I guess it's not that big of a deal, can ignore it if I have to.

But yes I'll always be rooting for him and Shiva to have that bond I always hear about in the OG ❤.

You pick up at one location and return at a different location. I have done it several times myself😆

Yeah I'm going to pretend they did return it even if they didn't show it...or I'll go crazy 🤣.

Shiva mentioned something about his ateet when he was talking to Dhara. This was when she said to move on.

Was he referring to the decisions he made growing up - not going to college, not grooming himself, etc? Or his past with Raavi - how he treated her over the years? Maybe both?

Did anyone else catch the part?

I loved this scene a lot. I told in my earlier post that Dev is redeemed in my eyes. He is not a bad brother, it's just that he is selective about who he wants to safeguard his relationship with. Finally it dawned on him that Shiva has taken too much shit because of him. So now, Shiva is in his favorites list😃

I want see him to show this kind of concern to Suman and Krish as well. He has very limited interaction with the 2 of them😃

For all of shivas talk of wanting raavi to choose him not coz he is her husband but of her choice what about raavis pov. Doesnt she also deserve shiva choosing her on his own rather than the responsibility thrust upon him by his elders. She has complained he keeps on seeing her as mkbkb over and over again and although she accepts this marriage she probably still hopes for a husband who loves her whole heartedly as well.

They both are on different pages and one has no idea what is going on in the other person's mind.

This tells us it is not going to be typical love story where they fall in love just because they are married.

PS- can somebody lock these two up in the pandya store storeroom where they can have a conversation without anyone walking away. 🤷

I heard in the og version we have a scene where raavi gets locked in the storeroom.😍

Plzz give us something like that.

Will the people who have watched the og version share what happened?

Seriously, he wants to be loved, cherished and chosen!

That is exactly what we are going to see in this track. The same thing happened in the OG and KM started to see each other differently, did not bring any past baggage and the rest was history😃
