One Episode....Three Perspectives!!

Sai : Sai has always talked about the truth and from her perspective the way she fell, Patralekha hates her too much to realise what a jerk with such force could lead to..We have seen and known the push was not intended, yes on face value it was not but intension is also a result of subconscious that the one probably never realises.

The jerk , the push was felt by Sai and not us and she would know the intensity of it all. When someone tries to disengage themselves from someone, that would only result in the person getting away with a jerk, if at all the force was a bit more, however to result someone falling down , someone who is taller than you is something that will be a result of a very very harsh and strong push. Sai knew Pakhi does not like her but hatred is something , she does not feel Pakhi Didi is capable of and hence in that push she felt the hate, hate that gave her that hurt.. the gift that she talked about.

For Sai Virat celebrating her birthday had nothing to do with him loving her, but something probably he would do for any member in the family , because he is that person who can do anything for the people he calls family. So she did not understand Pakhi's refusal to not attend it and she being the person she , the adamant, arrogant Sai went on to call her, just the way she knows it can be done. A family affair , so lets make it a family affair. However in that moment she realised it was never the headache, it was the hatred for her that made Pakhi Didi stay in the room.. She felt the push , she felt the pain, she saw no regret on her face, nothing. While we walk in the corridors of out office, even if we hit someone by mistake, because of our lack of attention, we apologize, basic courtesy.. If that mistake leads to someone falling down, the first instinct is to rush to them and help them getup. Sai realised she was not even offered that help that aid. In fact she was being blamed for getting it. When one is handled bodily/physically , you feel the love and you feel the hate... Sai felt it today .

I have always mentioned how Patralekha is extremely physically towards Sai..Even during on of those confrontations, when Sai held Virat's hand , she rushed into disengage it and mind you, Sai had applied a good amount of pressure, to remove Patralekha's hand for hers , Patralekha felt the jerk and moved a bit back but that did not result in her falling down. Why ? The intention there was to remove the hand and not to focus all the hatred that you carry for the person in that one jerk/push. Anyone who felt the push Sai felt today, would know, the intention was there. And if at all there were any doubts her reaction to it all, gave it away.. Sai could have spoken about what happened in the room , when Virat mentioned what Pakhi didi did to the family, but for once she was angry, she was in shock of what Pakhi Didi is capable of in her anger, capable of hurting people and not having an ounce of guilt and for once she relished in that lady being trashed by some people, the same people though.. None actually who are in favour of Pakhi Didi, spoke about it all. They held her responsible anyway. And for the first time she saw Virat Sir being this angry on Pakhi Didi, the woman she loves for her .

She let it happen for the first time, she was too hurt and angry to be treated the way she was treated....

Virat: The day was special to him, more special to him than it was to anybody in the house. As special to him as it was to the father of his wife, when he was alive. He did not want her to not miss him today, because nothing about her birthday and the way it was not being celebrated should have reminded him of her father, but the way it was celebrated , the way the man chosen by her family felt about it, should have reminded her of his father. He in between a dysfunctional family who do not really go well with each other, the realisation that has happened too late in his life, the family where the most respected elders hate his wife beyond any reasons, tried to not only convince them but also wanted them to be happy about the surprise he was to give to his wife. He knew he had told his wife that his family would come around and would love her, the pace-maker that he is, he knows its not possible but yet for the efforts she has done for his family, he wanted her to feel being a part of this family. In this family, his Bhabhi, the wife of his elder brother was nowhere in his mind. He did not care of her existence or lack of it.

But his wife in all happiness and ecstasy and the way she is goes on to try calling her for the party, something that he would have done few months back and that made him smile in glee. However the probability of them being together, resulting into some dhamaka bothered it. Cut to the scene where he sees his wife lying ,as a result of a fall holding her head .The first thought that came in his mind was in her excitement, she might have gone clumsy and must have fallen down, neither did he question the other woman standing there, nor did his wife mention about it. But the woman not only started with her venom but he sees in her hatred towards her, she is also not helping him with a first aid box, the basic courtesy that anyone would follow, not even when being told to do so. The woman continues to tell him how it was an accident and an intentional push. The man gets enraged.

He has been trying the whole day, that this day should not be like any other day in CN, however he sees that the woman who is his bhabhi and also his ex harbours so much hate for his wife that she while trying to remove her hand, led to the fall of the woman resulting in her hurting herself on the same day that he wanted to be taint free. And the woman would not even apologise, would not help him with aiding his wife, continue to spit venom after resulting into an accident. Accidents happen, happen all the time in life but how does the person committing accident is what makes a good/bad human being. Here Virat who has kept it all in him, to not cross limits with his bhabhi for hurting his wife with words, ignoring her poison every now and then , lost it..lost it all, because this time her callous words had not let to his wife being emotionally hurt, but her callous actions had led to his wife being physically hurt. Whatever could have caused it, the hurt was there and the woman standing there with no ounce of guilt. And he lost it all..He became the Virat that Neil talked about, who does not realise where he is going wrong , when its about someone he loves.. He crossed his limit. Crossed it to physically hurt another woman.

He was too hurt by the way his wife was treated by someone who he held such high regards for....

Patralekha: This man who once told her, there is nothing like "beech ki baat" between him and Sai. Sai is a woman whose responsibility he took as a result of the promise given to her father, the father who took the gun shot and died, for him. The father, the family that this girl lost because of him. He told her that he is taking care of the promise give to that man and in the process his promise to her, to keep her in his heart , to not give any woman, not even his wife that place would remain intact. He made sure to let her know the arrangement that he has with his wife. He made sure to never question her entry in his room at any given point. He gave her the HAQ to question his wife, to guide, to at times question his relationship. He made sure to reprimand his wife when she crossed limits with her and never really questioned her for doing the same to his wife. He called her his pyaari cheez in front of his wife, regretting marrying her and losing his pyaari cheez. In a way he gave her the top most priority.

And one fine day, he comes and tells her, that she is just his friend and his brothers wife and another day tells her, to forget what happened between them and he is in love with her. Now Patarlekha believes that probably because of her age and beauty he might just have gotten attracted to her, but is subconsciously still in love with her.He does not know but he loves her and just is infatuated by his young, vivacious , beautiful wife. But every time. Every single time he does something for his wife, special or not so special, her belief is hammered a little, it dies a little and today the way he went out of his way to make his wife special, her belief is dying painfully. Its one of the last nail on the coffin. She has come to hate that woman , who was given preference over her, who is turning out to be better than her in so many ways. who probably has also melted down the Chavans.. and she would never want to be a reason for her celebrations, for her smile , for her happiness.

Heck she hated her the day this woman got results, she even then after being apologised for no fault of hers, by the same woman, denied to giver blessings, denied to be a part of her happiness, denied to give her good wishes. She hates her so much. Today that hate has increased exponentially. That woman has the audacity to come and tease her , to burn her by calling her to the celebration that has been arranged by the man who was once in love with her.. The wife of the man she loves, dares to let her know what that man has done for her. Is it not enough that she is getting what she deserved from that man. Is it not enough that everyone else is a part of the celebration. Is it not enough that she is not spoiling it for her. And she with authority holds her hand to drag her in a party she hates. She jerks and that results her into that woman's fall.

And there comes the man , she is love with and she is gets scared about being misunderstood. More scared about being held responsible for the fall than aiding the person who got hurt because of her push. She forgets the basic courtesy of helping someone who fall was a result of her angry push , because she overtaken by the feeling of falling down in the eyes of the man she loves... And with every word he speaks in his wife's favour , she realises it was never her mistake, she came in my room, she got it for being the way she is. And when she sees that for the first time, she was really not the reason she was being blamed by the man himself, who has not really blamed her for anything much in the past. But at least the elders believe her, so she was not wrong, not wrong at all. This man is too wrapped up in his wife's beauty to realise that.

She was hurt, she was hurt yet again for her delusion being broken by that man, she was hurt that this man is prioritizing his wife's hurt over her hurt.

Three flawed people , for a change were seen today in this episode. Not right.. Not wrong.. Flawed and a bit selfish. Keeping aside the sloppy editing, this episodes brought the three leads on forum with their characteristics today.

Three flawed people - Golden words… human beings whose imperfections are exposed as each one of them drown in their own plethora of emotions.

Sai’s actions might be construed as someone’s who is emotionally vulnerable…she is sad missing her aaba, also she is surprised and ecstatic due to her husband’s splendid gesture. When hot and cold currents meet a dense fog is created, this is what happens to a human mind when extreme glumness and extreme merriness meet, the mind is fogged.. is she herself today??

Virat, elated, lost in love.. wants to make the most perfect bday for his wife. The surprise, the planning, the gifts, decorations.. he wants everything to be perfect and he can make them perfect! These alone cannot make up for her happiness.. the family’s love and support that is what truly matters.. are these under his control?? No.. absolutely not.. he convinced the Chakrams to participate, but will they behave? he is cautious, prudently watchful of his every step and every micro element of surrounding.. now if anything goes amiss.. how would he react??

Pakhi drowning in her delusions, a narcissist who fails to show empathy.. is simply like a wounded, rabid animal. Cannot see other’s happiness at this point let alone take part in it.. as she mentioned to Virat during Valentine’s Day.. she believes there is no happiness left in her life to share. She is lost here in jealousy, rage, obsession, dejection. She knows Virat moved on, but she is stuck, due to her own foolishness and obstinacy, she is all alone.. When she is poked what will happen??

Just going by their emotions, it’s nobody’s fault.. every action of each individual is justified in their minds!

However being objective yields another perspective.. you are absolutely right.. this episode exposed their characteristics.

For a change Sai today let her hurt rule her heart and I am with her. Once in a while any person who faces such situation does like to see the other person face the heat not for being the reason for her fall but for nourishing so much grudge and hatred towards her since her entrance into CN. It’s ok to be faulty once in a while. Nothing wrong.

Re-read your post. There was one question that came to me now regarding Sai - why now? Pakhi has been harassing her, instigating people against her, abusing her, insulting her, manhandling her. Not only that by Sai's own admission, Pakhi took pleasure in Sai's downfall and misery - be it in chilli grinding or during Virat's aggressive behaviour. In all these instances, Pakhi's hatred for Sai was evident and Sai knew that. How does one explain the contradiction - where on one hand Sai understands the hate, shows her concern towards her nemesis and genuinely wants her to be a part of her celebration and is then shocked at her hate again?

The reason I stress on "why now" is because I feel today's kaand was the least of Pakhi's offences. Even if the push subconsciously carried all the hate her heart carried for Sai, it was still not an intentional move. Nor do I expect her to be anything other than defensive and unapologetic. Pakhi has done far worse - first degree offences - planned and in full consciousness - without and ounce of remorse or even guilt. What did Sai sense now that was not evident before. If at all, it was exposed in all its ugliness numerous times before.

Its just one of those days, where she was overwhelmed with too many emotions.. Aaba her only family not being there on the day that was so special to them, the day would have gone by in college with a lot of sorrow, unhappiness, aloofness. Comes back to see Virat doing it al for her, sees people who do not like her much , do not consider her as family standing there to celebrate this day. Gets to know the man is responsible for it , followed by missing her AAba yet again. Then she gets to witness the hatred , a hatred that she thought no one is capable off. Sai knows Pakhi dislikes her, but she does not think she hates her. She did not think she is capable of physical hurt. From Sai's point of view she does not even know if it was not intentional or not, she just felt the push , fell and felt the pain. The hate that was felt by her in that push was the rude awakening she got. She suddenly realised that she is hated so much by this woman that in her anger she could hurt her physically and not even feel sorry about it.

How does Sai get to know or feel that she was not pushed when the force was applied on her... and it resulted in her falling down, with no remorse from the other woman, not even jumping to see if she is fine or not. How does Sai know it was not intentional, when as soon as she falls down, the woman takes no measure, no steps to check her out?

The jerk was forceful enough to make the woman of almost the same weight or probably more, fall down and hurt herself. How does the woman who has fallen down understand if it was intentional or not. Because this same woman had applied a certain degree of force to remove the other woman's(Pakhi) hand few days back, when she held her from holding her husband's hand, with some force and it did not result in anyone falling. So one knows the difference.. The point is Patralekha put her hatred for Sai, all her frustrations towards her in that one push/jerk. And denied to even help her. That's inhuman.

And so many emotions in a day, its too much to handle anyway. She after all is human.

Even if the push subconsciously carried all the hate her heart carried for Sai, it was still not an intentional move. Nor do I expect her to be anything other than defensive and unapologetic. Sai was overwhelmed by emotions this time as I had said even yesterday and got so much carried away with her emotions that she even failed to notice Pakhi’s jealousy or hurt that she usually notices in Pakhi. She has been able to see Pakhi as a hurt lover many a times but this time had failed to or should I say pushed the thought behind even when Pakhi told Sai that Virat loves her in anger.

All Sai knew was that the whole family was a part of her birthday surprise and Virat had done so much for her. She was so emotional that she even hallucinated her Dad, her inner feelings had come out at that moment. She failed to realise that Pakhi actually has issues with her birthday being celebrated this grand. It was at this state of hers where she was excited and emotional that Pakhi gave her a jhatka (not just a physical one) that Sai woke up from her trance, her excitement back to the reality of the relationship she shared with Pakhi. She realised that Pakhi had so much issues with her that Pakhi didn’t even rush to her when she fell down, didn’t even care to see her when Virat and her discovered that she got wounded, but instead continued to bad mouth her.

That was it, Sai couldn’t take that one could have so much hatred even after her being nice to her, even after she had tried to mend her relationship with Pakhi by apologising multiple times to her during the saree drama, even after she returned from college when she didn’t want to. She had even shown genuine care asking her if she can apply balm on Pakhi but Pakhi didn’t seem to care about any good thing Sai was doing.

In the past, Sai has fought back, has taunted her but recently Sai has tried to mend her relationship with Pakhi to make peace but nothing seems to make any difference to Pakhi, which Sai had realised at that moment. She realised how much Pakhi must be hating her, realised that Pakhi hates her birthday being celebrated when Pakhi didn’t show any care when Sai got hurt.
