The college scene was a semblance of normalcy for Adilie, who are dealing with the aftermath of their truth to the family. The situation has been tense and no respite for these two.. But in true Adilie spirit, these 2 are sticking to their routine of college/office. Adi emphasizing baar baar that Imlie must focus on her studies and not let the family drama impact as he feels guilt over it. Imlie looks so wan and tired.... bechaari.. the look is perfect as that of a girl who has been through the wringer n back.. for more... - I know right. Love that they both are maintaining continuity in their own lives, despite everything. Warno toh we used to have someone else, jo har situation mein sab kuch bhool kar used to sit at home and mope.😆

Just look at Mahaan Dd who is always turned out spiffily with tons of caked makeup in any situation... 🤣 - Soooo true🤣

Adi happily introducing Imle Tripathi to all and sundry was cute n he is taking a leaf out of Imlie's book.. for she has a penchant for nautnaki. Could we have had more of this?? YES ... but 😭 - Honestly I am pleasantly surprised itna bhi mila, so bring it on. Adi doing nautanki was super sweet and very smart to get his wife to agree with his condition to come along with him to the function. Very smart BS😆

Aparna is hell bent on having a smooth function and in denial, does something really stupid.. lies to M to get her to attend... using her son as bait... her ego is blinding her to all reason. When the ladies start arriving, she lies again to say that everything is hunky dory between her son n his wife upon hearing the latest gossip... neighborhood aunty's daughter has run away with the driver... and ofc... they are gossiping biddies, gleefully tattling about the latest news... she does not want to be the butt of their gossip and spots Malini, announcing to all n sundry, here is my jewel in the crown.. lo and behold... only red carpet was omitted for Dd ki grand entry.. - Aparna is like someone whose roof is leaking, so is doing everything to stop the leak, but all the attempts are making the hole even larger. She is trying to maintain the "happy family" picture in front of society, not realizing the extent to which her son is going to go to put his point across.😆

The color coordinated clothes is... (shrugs) and Apu showed her meannes by cancelling the order for Imlie's dress... burn it or throw it, I don't want it.. Imlie watching all this and other happenings from the sidelines...😭 - Though mean, think that in all this Aparna had made so much of an effort to make something special for Imlie. You dont do that for a nukrani, you do it for family. While now Imlie may not be family, but her choice inadvertently landed up with Imlie's dupatta tripling with Adi & her sasuma, rather than the show bahu😆

Imlie sitting in her kona and Adi comes to take her to the function... ends up telling her to get ready in 5 minutes.. this man has to know that a girl needs more than 5 to get ready.. - Abhi Nahi. Uska bhi time aayega. Anyway Adi thinks that Imlie is pare from all the girly type feelings of looking good and doing all teh sajna and sawarna. Yeh bhi usse dheere dheere pata chalega😆

This was a beautiful convo where he explains to Imlie that backing off, keeping quiet is not going to change the family's mindset that she is a maid, they have to accept that she is his wife.. his very fight is against this outdated thinking of his family.. by not attending, they are only cementing their beliefs. Adi catching her lie and getting her prepped to face the ordeal that is waiting for them... showed their saath n as a team can face it head on.. - Imlie understood that Adi wants to do what she also wanted to by becoming a journo herself - Change the mindset of society. She realized that his zid is more to fight on the moral and ethical ground rather than fight just for the heck of it.

Tomorrow more of the drama as Adi announces to all that Imlie hamari patni hia, pehni patni hai. - Rounding of this week that started with CK trying to tell Adi that Malini tumhari patni hai, to tomorrow where he blows that misconception out of the water by telling the world that Imlie uski pehli patni hai.😆

Adi's nautanki today was his revenge at Imlie for making him Imlendar. Aaj dono barabar ho gaye😆

ROFL at Adi asking the peon about going to PD. Someone mentioned that thank god he did not start his "Jab hum pehli baar PD gaye" story.😆. Loved that he is also worried about all this affecting Imlie's studies, but something tells me she is going to surprise him over there as well, by topping her exams again. Also, Adi was smart enough to go to a class who does not know his wife very well to do his nautanki and get her to agree to his conditions😆

In the last scene, Adi knew that she was nervous about doing all this and was to an extent even justified. But wohi hai na, her concerns though valid and agreed on by BS as well, were coming from a place of love. Adi's point that he would have concurred if only they were mad for the right reasons, made her understand that he is not rebelling just for the sake of it. He is fighting for a much larger cause and starting that fight by cleaning up his home first. His anger is not on the fact that they are opposing their relationship, but rather to do with their reasons for doing so. That made Imlie also relent, as she understood that without her support, BS cannot win this fight alone.

then came the blue suit scene - Aparna has one agenda now.. separate imlie n Aditya.. and she is ready to go to any lengths for that.. be it Verbal abuse or just plain simple entitled behavior.. cancelling that suit didn’t serve any purpose.. it just made imlie sad n made Aparna extra bad in entire world.. ghar ka hissa nahi hai bolne se koi ghar ka hissa nahi reheta kya? 🤷🏻‍♀️

Malar a is using Malini as her arsenal but she is forgetting on whom she is trying to use it.. jiske saath shaadi nahi ki ja pata Aditya aur dosti bhi nibhana usse gavara nahi hai uske saath woh natak karega woh bhi duniya ke liye 🙄 Aparna really needs to wake up and smell the coffee.. tomorrow whatever is going to happen is cos she is trying to manipulate too many people and truth doesn’t hide specifically when the truth bearer wants it out.. case in point Aditya..

Last and amazing scene from Aditya n Imlie - we finally got the real reason atleast the one Aditya understands.. it’s battle between social status and perception.. he is ready to fight it out.. he doesn’t care n imlie shouldn’t either.. aaj fir imlie ne babusahib ki himmat ka daaman pakada aur woh chal padi.. jo kabhi kisi ka sahara nahi chahti thi aaj saath chaahti hai.. and Aditya uske saath hai bhi..

Kal jo hoga woh nahi hona chahiye tha.. lekin hoga jaroor aur achcha hai.. sach sabke saamne bahaar.. jo jaan ke anjaan ban rahe hai unke liye bhi aur jo sach mein anjaan hai unke liye bhi..

Really loved both the Adi- Imlie scenes. Adi is becoming too good to be true these days. Setting bars so high! I mean he is a reputed journalist, and he was ready to do nautanki in front of the public to just prove a point and shower all his support for his wife! And he did is so wonderfully. That scene if not handled properly could have turned to a very cringey one..but through Adi it looked really original. Claps to GM👏

I dont wanna get into the T house drama or their hollow heads. So Apu as I predicted has strongly started lying to the public about the identity of her bahu, like her son did once hiding Imlie's truth to salvage his relationship with Malini. In order to convince Malini to come home, she lied to her as well, taking baby steps on manipulation as well. Wha! wha!... Malini could have denied, and she would have ACTUALLY turned mahaan for us, but she turned up didn't she? With her false pretense of coercing Apu to accept Imlie. Disgusting!🤢

Adi is hell bent on introducing Imlie to the world, at the same time fighting the soch of his family. Keep trying mister, keep trying! I really wanted to know when Apu will learn the difference between divorced and separated! I mean has she TOTALLY forgotten Malini moved on with Kunal!? What is she smoking these days?😆

And why would guests leave a mooh dikhai function because a relation of the groom had married a naukar and is separated from his second wife? What variant of new zombies are they?

Keeping all the negativities aside, how glorious was Anu's red saree today!? Her dressing sense is so good, Malini clearly learned the wrong things from her motha.😆

Thanks LL and you are always welcome, tag or no tag. While the episode was not depressing, somehow I felt it to be longer that the 22 minutes it was, probably coz I felt there was a lot covered in just 1 episode.

+1 on the college scene. I was worried on seeing the segment that the actual scene would be cringey and I would have to FF it, but surprisingly it was rather cute. Loved how Adi knew just what chabi was needed to tune Imlie to agree to his request.😆.

Aparna is following her son's footsteps on the lying and manipulation. But just like her son, she is also feeling the regret & weight of her lie. That one line differentiated her from AC & Malini for me. Despite everything, this manipulation and emotional blackmail does not come easily to Aparna, neither is it without consequences. That shows that her core is still intact, right now it is just piled on with a lot of muck. As for the separation, somewhere today Aparna has accepted that. She knows that she cannot have Malini back in Adi's life as his wife, but she wants to show the world that her bahu is still there with them and all is hunky dory. That shows that Aparna is using Malini just to keep up the appearance of normalcy, while really not expecting her to get back with Adi, as she knows that is not possible. Again all this manipulation does affect Aparna as well, but she shrugs it off on the pretext that she is doing it to save the maan-maryada of the T house.

Guests leave the function as they suspect an EMA b/w Adi & Imlie, as Adi's shaadi was done with Malini pure samaj ke saamne. So yeah, that soch will not change, no matter how much Adi screams on top of his voice that Imlie is his first wife.

AC's fashion sense has always been fantastic, which her daughter could never even try to replicate.🤢

BTW today she looked extra nice and I really loved that color on her.😆
