But I want to again prove the point that Malini claim love for adhithya is not love it’s just a concern for losing the comfort zone.

Somebody say 7 years spend .

Just assume Malini first meet Adhithya in 18 yrs old while doing degree

3 yr degree + 2 year pg + 2 year of job

While studying most of us concentrated on studies and being proud of friend or so called lover and our main concern is career building.

She take Adhithya’s friendship as parallel to her other goals in life.

May be meeting in restaurant may be some phone call etc

In between on Nishanth’s return day Radha is asking about Malini have went to foreign.. there was no mention about Adhithya went overseas.. if also that considered we cannot say that they meet in every day manner in 7years.

My issue with Malini is that I expected her to be much more complex than she was shown from the start. Her character sketch on paper was a mature professor coming from a toxic household, being put into a situation not of her making, dealing with it and coming out of it with her head held high. I would have rooted for that character to succeed, even more than Imlie, if she had been actually portrayed that way.

Instead we got a ziddi, shakki, airhead, who clung to Aditya as a creeper, almost to the point of suffocating him. They both had a convenient relationship which was more relevant to Malini as he never opposed her opinion and he could also tolerate her mother. These 2 qualities were enough for her to label him as her ticket to get out of her toxic home, without having the need to deal with the actual responsibilities of growing up and becoming mature. She was always in her dream world and expected marriage with Aditya to be a bed of roses with no arguments or issues. While many people are sheltered like that before marriage, once married you have to face the realities of life.

Right now I can give her only one exemption that Adi got her involved in this mess which she was not responsible. She could have done a lot more in finding out more about what he said and why, but she preferred to live in her dream world and accept his words rather than dig further. I will still give her that, but only that.

But everything after the time she started to have faint doubts on Adi and the way she treated his family and him during the 3rd PD trip and after, has been all on her. She is supposed to be a mature, sensible woman, but her actions belie that notion in every way. She wants to be mahaan and make huge promises, but never has the intent or actions to follow through on any of them. She refuses to take accountability for any of her actions and has not apologized to Imlie for every one of the vile names she has called her. She wants to show that she has moved on in life and has therefore lied to both Adi & Imlie on the pretext that she is the reason they can move on together, when thy are together because they want to be together and not because Malini got them together, she made no sacrifice.

So yeah, she gets no sympathies from me no matter how much she cries, coz honestly I am immune to that.

Exactly. Malini wanted a mirror who just shows what she is thinking, so that everything ill always be hunky dory.

Adi was like that initially as he did not care enough to put his views or contradict her.

But after marriage he could not just follow what she says, he is not built like that.

With Imlie even if he does not agree, she convinces him with logical points, which makes him relent, else he also holds on to his decisions and she follows through.

That is true partneship. Not expecting the other to always echo your thoughts just because you cannot tolerate being opposed in anyway.

She accuses Imlie of leaving her husband, when she herself has left her husband everytime she feels like she has been "wronged" without having a frank discussion with him regarding her feelings. She tried committing suicide without knowing the full truth, yet lied to Adi to get the truth out without again confronting him. The issue is that she is the worst version of her parents - spineless like her father, but vicious like her mother. That combination is just nauseating to watch on screen.

Arre, uske hisab se uske saare dates aur perfect shaadi ke sapne todkar. Adi has moved on, while she is still stuck there. yet she does not want to take a stand of either going away from him or falling in his arms to take her back. Either at least feels like she is taking a stand, but she loves to oscillate to show her mahaanta.

Why she saying her sisters life ? Why can’t she admit Adhi doesn’t loves her?

The fact that Adi loves someone like Imlie over someone like her bahut khatakta hai usse.
