Exactly, Kirti ko na bachane ka toh sawaal hi khada nahi hota. He'd have just found ways to lessen the family's struggles in any way possible without giving away her name, to somehow help compensate for what Kirti did to them, just because that's who he is.

I know people are expecting that Kirti will be redeemed at the end of this plot, and I know @bold will likely happen, but I really don't know how they'll convince us to accept that?? This isn't bias against her speaking, I think I've been vocal enough about how much I loved her for it to be clear that I have no bias against her.

I just...I can't imagine anything that justifies her actions? Yes, obviously, a lot is missing from the night of the accident- how did she reach Hyderabad, for instance, and why they didn't at least call an ambulance, maybe she was in some kind of trouble herself (clearly something shady was going on that night, we still don't know what Mandaar was even up to), okay fine, let me give her that. Darr mein galtiyaan ho jaati hain, though I hate her calling it a small mistake, for argument's sake, let's say it's all no big deal.

But does that justify the absolute venom she's spewing at Pallavi right now? Ab kis baat ka itna darr? Pata hai na bhai bacha lega, so I can't attribute her attitude to fear. Aaj bhi jab Sunny ke saath ro rahi thi- how does she think Amma will turn her in without any proof?? Raghav has destroyed and will continue to destroy any evidence. Phir bhi, robbing from her own mother? I just don't see how they'll absolve her of everything she's done and has been doing.

Do I like what direction the show has taken with her character? Absolutely not. But do I think there's still hope for her? Nope.

this is exactly what I want to know. How are the writers going to redeem her character? I can see the way Raghav went in smiling at Kirti, there isn’t going to be any issue from his side and Pallavi might even forgive her once she finds out Kirti was framed in this in some way by Sunny. I feel everything will just fall on Sunny’s shoulder. But she is a grown up woman and no one kept a gun on her shoulder to do all the stupidity she has been doing. I agree with Sharada. Would like Jaya to give her the same ultimatum she gave to Raghav all these years. She needs to face the same music in order to understand what Raghav went through and how she has behaved rudely with Pallavi. How much ever I think on this, I can’t accept an apology alone for her character to be redeemed.

Given the high moral ground that Jaya has I feel that might happen. Then Keerti being in Raghav's shoes will understand what Raghav went through all these years. Only then she can truly understand what Raghav, Pallavi and Amma offer - a family who loves you. I really want Keerti to live the life that Raghav had for some time. She did not hesitate to curse her own brother and his happiness when she felt Sunny left her. She needs some hard awakening to realize what she had before she destroyed.

I would really like this to happen. An apology alone isn’t enough for her behaviour with everyone. She should go through the same in order to understand the value of having a family and how much Raghav has gone through to protect and save her.

@bold- iss scene pe mera itna dil jala tha Diya. Not because he smiled at her, that I expected, but at her fake 'oh you guys are back' and smile. God, I felt like slapping her. She does know na ki he was planning to go away to jail for real, not for a day?? He wouldn't have been 'coming back' from that if not for Pallavi's stunt. Itni smile kar ke kya bol rahi thi? And after the way she's been with Pallavi, Amma aur Raghav ke saamne yeh drama kyun?? When we know we're right, we don't put up pretences when we know we're right- usko pata hai her behaviour has been inexcusable, tabhi toh saamne kuch and peeche kuch aur hai.

I have been very vocal about my not so much liking for the character.. My reasons are very simple - 1) her attitude towards Raghav from the beginning of the show.. I think it has always been subject to terms and conditions which I dont like..and 2.) the actress BUT this is not coming from a place of bias, when I say that Keerthi's character had started going down the drain even before the whole Mandhar accident fiasco came into play. It began with entry of Sunny's character..from there it just went downhill.. Eversince, she faced opposition at home, she pinned her resentment and frustration on Pallavi.. Obvioisly Raghav became bhai soon but Pallavi was like a thorn in her eye.. Sunny kept on instigating her.. when Mandhar's case came up, it was that hatred which came out as venom from her mouth.. That was not out of fear because she knew Raghav will save her even if he has to go against Pallavi.. If Sunny goes to jail, I don't see that hatred she has in her heart for Pallavi go anywhere.. unless she somehow realizes that Sunny was the wrong guy for her.. I dont see how that can happen in a day..

I agree that her attitude towards Raghav has always, always been terms and conditions apply, but I was okay with it, because I understood her anger at him. She's been going downhill ever since Sunny landed on the scene, tbh, but she was being irritating- not 'irredeemable', which is what she feels now.

It's like my feelings for Mansi- I never particularly liked her because of just how much pressure she would always put on Pallavi. it was like Pallavi was less of a person, more of a problem solver for her. But as irritated as I was at her, she wasn't 'irredeemable' back then, that's just messy family dynamic.

Now, both Kirti and Mansi have gone from being 'annoying' to 'absolutely vile' and I hate it.

How gorgeous did Pallavi look today? The sari, the makeup, the jewelry, the hair, and that goddamn confidence.

Shivangi knocked it out of the park today. All that confidence and swagger and finally, finally victory. And then that moment in the bedroom when she finally lets it sink in, the long awaited closure. Hit me hard, and I definitely teared up. I'm glad she was a bit selfish in that moment- not thinking of Ayi Baba but herself. Kabhi kabhi responsibilities ki jagah khud ki emotions ke baare mein sochna chalta hai.
