Adi has really proved today the entire point of this whole exercise - change always first happens at home. Had the T's just agreed without harping on a lot of these issues, we would never be this invested in seeing the change in the way the society perceives Imlie, more so as BS's wife & the T family's bahu. This process helps the makers show how nazariya can change if you give the other person a chance to show their capabilities.

Slowly & steadily, we will see how Imlie's quiet strength will help in building her image to become strong enough to break the stereotypical & archaical views of the T family and rightfully take her place as their bahu.

Yes we needed that reassurance from Adi that the Tripati's walk to redemption is through their realisation of their mistakes and mending their ways. Not sympathising and accepting Imlie for the sake of Adi. Really nice turn of events today. The direction is set, now lets see the execution.😁✌🏼

Then Aditya’s another failed attempt to make Aparna n PT understand that Imlie is just the same girl her designation in family doesn’t change her nature.. but then Aparna goes a level below than before calling Imlie illegitimate.. her voice waivers but she usher frwd with insults.. Last scene with Aparna n Imlie was foundation of the coming days where Imlie -BS will be standing tall n strong together.. aab jo imlie ne apna sindoor pehena hai toh woh nahi utaarne wali.. and she declared that too.. I am happy to see this unapologetic imlie..

Imlie ke ray of hope jab bujh gaye, she went on to steel herself to put forth what she felt was needed at that time to convince both sides that she is not going anywhere.

Adi's entire conversation with his parents and the T's was his way of first testing and then finally pushing the boundaries to the limit in his attempt to break them and give Imlie the respect she deserves.

BS ko almost 50+ episodes lage pighalne mein aur 100+ episodes lage badalne mein. So you can calculate that even if they take 1/5th the amount of time, we are looking at atleast 10 more epis before they become cordial & 20 more before they accept, if we want to be generous and optimistic.

So yeah with all the public humiliations and everything that will follow, we are still going to be getting even more frustrated with the T's and falling more for Adi & Imlie in the process.

You noticed it too that BK took the plate of food while the others did not... 😆 The looks could kill look from Apu when Imlie grabbed Adi's hand was well done... she would have been bhasm right there.. Ritu was owsom today in the scene with aDi in their room... she can yell and give ultimatums and so can her son.. even louder and bigger than her... It was brilliant.

Thinking of Apu is now out in the open leaving Adi appalled at their behavior. Truly they move in packs and the herd mentality was ROFL... for me to see them in the hallway...

First, I second your prediction, coz I also feel PT will fall first. BK is also too caught up in Radhaji's influence right now to think straight.

Ritu & GM were amazing and you could actually feel that maa-beta bond there being stretched to its limits, with both being mirror images of each other in being stubborn & refusing to give an inch. Then Adi finally decided to break the stare & just do what he wants, coz he knows that unless he does not do anything, things are not going to change.

Herd mentality has not changed I see🤣. True they literally always move in packs.

Yesterday’s & today’s episode T’s more shows problems with imlies illegitimacy. & Malini’s legitimate status.

In Ramayana there is a story of Rishyasringa& Vaishali …Hope most of you know that plot… how hard a illegitimate child sacrifice her life for doing good they are not valued . here I seems an interesting fact that starts from era of Ramayana to till date even in 2021 people sees the children out of wedlock as inferior. This plot in serial shows how much progressive thoughts we have till our society have such regressive thoughts.

Only Younger generation have not much problem with that give hope of society will change its thoughts.

First I feel some awkwardness from showing T’s in such a way but now I feel it’s a quite organic way of addressing social issues with having limits of ITV.

I mentioned yesterday, that the makers are doing this on purpose to show the entire journey of the T family in their redemption of getting rid of this nasty mentality that is prevalent even today. They chose the T's as we would be most invested in their journey and see, we tune in everyday to see how Adi will fight against this rudimentary and backward mindset to show them that they are wrong. How the very people who taught him his values are being hypocrites by not heeding to those values themselves. So yes, while many situations are very ITV typical TRP type situations, the journey still feels very organic to me.

Reposting my thoughts on this from the other thread:

Aparna right now is extremely conflicted I feel. She genuinely loves Imlie (even now andar hi andar) but cannot look beyond the years of conditioning on her that her bahu is supposed to be someone like Imlie. She feels it to be easier to negate all of Imlie's qualities and just focus on the negatives to be able to justify her bias. Like how Adi in the beginning used to insult & show Imlie her "place" as a defense mechanism to avoid recognizing the PD shaadi as any kind of commitment, Aparna is using these labels to justify her stance against accepting Imlie as her bahu. If she accepts that Imlie is not at fault for any of these labels and she continues to be the same girl who became Aparna's beti, it will be difficult for her to justify her actions to herself. Every time Imlie tries to explain to Aparna about what she went throgh all these months and how she never asked for this, but it was given to her, reminds Aparna of how this girl is till as innocent and pyaari even today. But then she reminds herself that accepting her will require Aparna to forget her years of conditioning and bias, and take a step back to steel herself to become mean again.

That is why that softness shows up beech beech mein, coz Aparna is not someone who can be mean just for the sake of being mean, especially to someone who even today is very close to her heart. Her dialogue to Imlie where she says that if you leave my son, I will ensure that you will get back all the love that is lost right now. Aparna wants Imlie to bring things back to status quo, so that she does not have to deal with the conflict, just like how Adi wanted Imlie to leave him, so that he did not have to face his mistakes. Both mom & son are mirror images of each other, so looks like Aparna will follow a similar path to redemption.
