@Dhairya - haha yeah, no holiday since before Covid for me - by which I mean actually leaving the house/country 😆 it's been a while, but I guess that's the case for most people. Even though I'm desperate for one, I still don't feel up for international travel just yet, so I guess I still have a while to go for a proper holiday 😭

I have no particular interest in DT and KP or even DT/NM...but it will be interesting to see if the BALH rumours are true. I have to say I'm kind of LOLing at the fact that Meera di bagged herself a lead Balaji FL role before SC 🤣 apparently her bhagya is starting soon 🤪

@Nikki - ugh, it sucks doesn't it? Hope you get a refund for your vacation. I too live vicariously through Instagram at the moment. Damn this pandemic. Though I see it isn't stopping other people around the world 🤔

Glad you're on the mend, and I hope your parents are doing well too.

I've actually been back in the office twice a week since October (barring a brief mini lockdown), so I'm sort of used to it and tbh I expected this move from my company 😊 so I'm sure it'll be fine, but the commute is something I definitely did NOT miss, and now the added stuff re: Covid just makes the whole thing a bit of a hassle. But otherwise I was actually very tired of permanent WFH...so being in the office is at least a change in routine, and you get to see colleagues.

Interesting re: SAAKK and good on the producers for not allowing the channel to bully them into a crap storyline. Of course, the channel then bullied them into ending the show early, I presume 🤔 Sitara really is a terrible micromanager.

As for Swarda, I haven't seen any clips but I saw some stills of her char when she first joined, and storyline aside, the make-up and costuming for her on this show is abysmal (or was, when I saw those pics). Shallow, I know, but after our ultra glamorous Mayuri, this seemed like a definite downgrade. LOL that her char seems pointless too.

I think I also end up gravitating towards tragic love stories but that's never my intention 🤣 IDK how it always ends up like that. Maybe I'm doomed to only care about the jodis that end up in tragedy...or maybe the jodis I care about are doomed to end up in tragedy 😆

@Huma - BABWAAAAAAAAAAAA 🤗 sorry things have been crazy for you but hope all is okay otherwise.

I'm still waiting on my second jab too though I think we can push them forward so I might try to do that. Work is just ehhhh...I'm hoping there'll be a lull soon so I can take some time and regroup/refresh.

The weather is insane (thunderstorm right now!) but I definitely prefer it cooler, so not looking forward to the heat 😆

As for Pavitra Rishta - I agree with both of you Huma and Nikki. I have no idea why they thought this was a good idea, it seems like a really poor attention grabbing kind of decision, and very IMO disrespectful to SSR. Plus I have no idea why any male actor would want to step into those shoes and invite the wrath/disappointment of the original char's fans, just for the sake of it. What could possibly be left to tell in that story? 🤔 But EK zindabad 😊

I saw something about SNS doing a "prequel" (whyyyyyyyy lmao 🤣) is that the same thing as the so-called reboot? Why on earth do they want to compete with their own show? They know fans of the original will probably ditch the new one and go back to "Gopi bau" and her rasoda 🤣

Wait, I just realised - are they bringing the original Gopi bahu back in the reboot/prequel? The one they fired?! 🤣 I don't even know what to think 🤣🤪 I mean talk about continuity 😆

As for PR2 I saw the leads getting some backlash ok not some a lot of backlash. Asking for oscars to be given to the FL for her offscreen performance surely they knew they backlash it would invoke. Guess they don’t care. I do not get how this remake can be classified as tribute 🤔

Yes the rasode and laptop washer Gopi is back 🤣I have no clue how they’re making a reboot or prequel. So confusing. Though hope we get some laptop washing scenes. ITV needs some light hearted scenes atm 😆
