Then going by this logic if a man is soft & respectful the he is gopi bahu? Kuch bhi.Originally posted by: aye-masakalii
Arrey, I made this comparison aaj, Parul and I were discussing. Kayi logon ko Raghav and Pallavi mein Krishna-Meera dekhna hai- ki she should be drowning in love and devotion, while he is doing raasleela in the club with all his gopis. The minute he's soft with her, or does something nice for her, Gopi Bahu bulate hain. Such toxic masculinity?
It boils down to 'Raghav's too good for Pallavi', which blows my mind- if anything, for the majority of the show, it's been the other way around. Anyone would kill to have a Pallavi in their lives, so full of unconditional and unflinching warmth, love, kindness, support and faith. I mean, seriously, her biggest flaw so far is 'loves her family too much and hides her own pain'. What's not to fall in love with?
Tv is actually spoilt people's mind with this whole 'alpha man's concept. People start to think being jerk is a sign of masculinity. I hope this crazy bunch doesn't apply this type of skewed logic in their life.
