For me if Pawan and Aru r standing there as top 2 they r both winners ..even otherwise they deserve the spots

Not this year! Because if public votes fairly, at least two girls would be in the top 3 for sure.

I still feel, technically, sincerity wise, creativity wise, all the three girls have outshone the boys by some distance.

If only on the basis of dil choo lene waali awaaz, some one wins, it would be a travesty

Lady killer returned during power play and at the end of power play Arunita was declared as the top voted contestant neutralizing all top voted declarations during the power play i.e. sometimes top 2 Pawan and Sawai and sometimes Arunita and Pawan. During that time, single top voted contestant was not declared. Top 2 were declared. However, those declarations became null and void with the declaration of top voted contestant after the power play accummulating all votes during power play.

After power play, Anjali was eliminated. Since then top voted contestant was declared twice. Once the LK manly PD while elimination of Sawai and lastly Arunita while elimination of Ashish.

I did not follow the top voted contestant at the beginning but heard that Sawai was the top voted contestant couple of times followed by LK manly Pawan and during that time these two were considered by the makers as winner of the title as understood from the interview of Neeraj jee.

Arunita was never in the radar of the makers. She earned that attention for the overwhelming love and affection of the audience as a result of brilliant performances week after week in the beginning and that has been continuing till now.

Arunita did not join the show with a large dedicated fanbase. Whatever she and other contentants except Pawan have achieved is mainly for their performances in Indian Idol. They had to demonstrate their talent in this show to win the heart of the audiences. Only LK Handsome Manly Pawan did not require to demonstrate any talent in this show to win the heart of the audiences. He had already lovely and piyaari fans who are mad for him when he joined the show. He has been evaluated based on a perception that he is the best singer whereas the others had to deliver to establish that yes they can also sing.

I am not telling the LK handsome manly Pawan did not demonstrate any good performance in the show but he did not require to strugle a little bit to be in lime light. The story of the other contestants is different in this case. 😃
