I love Shraddha but I am genuinely curious as to why she was spared unlike Sonam, Sonakshi, Alia who were all attacked mercilessly by trolls after Sushant's death.
Shraddha is also a nepotism product, isn't she? She has continued to get films despite her limited acting skills.
Is it because of her sweet offscreen personality and the fact that she has never courted controversy?
Discuss.
I think it's because she didn't have it easy.
Her father's scandal and subsequent blacklisting didn't make it easy for her.
Though she was signed by Yash Raj Films, she worked on poor movies under Y-Films and breaking her contract with them didn't help her getting in the good books of Bwood head honchoes.
In one hand she had Aditya Chopra who was miffed she dared to leave without completing her contract and on another hand she had Kjo who was pushing for Alia and ensuring she had no competition.
Thus Shraddha isn't shoved in the audience's mouth as she doesn't star in big-budgeted and awaited movies. Her success appear more organic.
Also unlike Sonam and Sonakshi she refrains from saying statements that could miff the audience.
She has a good image, is pretty and can dance.
Her acting is poor but she manages to choose roles in which she can play on her strengths.
