All this nepotism debate was selective. Certain starkids were spared like Tiger, Hrithik, shraddha.

I just thought it was convenient how the Khans were magically dragged into and got attacked. This wasn't just about nepotism. This whole SSR movement had a lot of political undertones to it. Taking down Bollywood wasn't just about nepotism - it was taking down a institution that has been very liberal and welcoming irregardless of religion, sexual orientation, etc. Sushant was a just pawn, poor thing.

Shraddha has been doing roles what any outsider girl get. Why should she get the bashing when she's not doing tailor-made roles, or snatching others roles with potential? Besides as another person said, it's hard to bash someone who minds her own business, don't go overboard with PR work.

She has made an impact that is why she is popular among people who consider her their favourite.

The controversial ones are most talked about because they have bots, supporters, haters and antilovers.

I’m not talking abt being controversial to be talked abt

I’m talking about performances …noteworthy performances that put her on the map as compared to the rest

It is just fans of Alia, Varun, Khans and others getting jealous, that why was Shraddha spared.

But the thing is people's reactions depended accordingly.

Shraddha firstly was one of the few celebrities present in Sushant's funeral. And their were no rumors of or made up rumors of her being condescending towards Sushant.

On top of that, Shraddha never defended nepotism unlike Dharma kids.

But Shraddha also faced trolling ever since her name came up in drugs scandals, but that is obviously going to be ignored by the posters here, because it doesn't sit well with their narrative of "Shraddha was spared because she is not successful".

People are hypocrite at certain times. Different rules for different people. Also Shraddha Kapoor is not given films only from one PH. She doesn't act entitled. She keeps her distance from other nepo kids, kjo and their parties.Alia is in majority of every KJO movies. And nowadays in every movie she name is announced or her name in the running.

SRK has nothing to do with Nepotism but he was bashed

It was never about Nepotism, it was about attacking anyone who had an association with Karan Johar

Shraddha is also a nepotism product, isn't she? She has continued to get films despite her limited acting skills.

Is it because of her sweet offscreen personality and the fact that she has never courted controversy?

Discuss.

I think it's because she didn't have it easy.

Her father's scandal and subsequent blacklisting didn't make it easy for her.

Though she was signed by Yash Raj Films, she worked on poor movies under Y-Films and breaking her contract with them didn't help her getting in the good books of Bwood head honchoes.

In one hand she had Aditya Chopra who was miffed she dared to leave without completing her contract and on another hand she had Kjo who was pushing for Alia and ensuring she had no competition.

Thus Shraddha isn't shoved in the audience's mouth as she doesn't star in big-budgeted and awaited movies. Her success appear more organic.

Also unlike Sonam and Sonakshi she refrains from saying statements that could miff the audience.

She has a good image, is pretty and can dance.

Her acting is poor but she manages to choose roles in which she can play on her strengths.

She has already gone thru enough being Shakti Kapoor's daughter. No Indian would want Shakti Kapoor as their father. 😆
