Hello and welcome to the forum!

I hope you enjoy your time here!

Yeah true that the child swapping was an unnecessary twist. But I like to hope that they've planned to handle it with a few important life lessons thrown in.

Let’s see how it unfolds!

Hope to see you here more! ❀

I liked the simple scenes. How Sona ignored bijoy and how she was tired taking care of the kids alone. The poha Vs paratha scene was also nice.

I however didn't like the child swapping twist. It was genuinely unnecessary. Matlab I would understand why they would grow apart. It happens when you loose a family member people go into depression and even when they are fine it's not the same.

I just hope it isn't like the excessively dramatic and Illogical other Indian shows.

Also I am very new here. I wasn't aware of this site when I first watched the show.

Yeah. It wouldn't be a good decision to change the actor. Since she has set us on a path about Sona's mother's character.

Nahin iss episode me nahin aye. But they'll all come. Dheerey dheerey.

Let's hope so.

I really hope this is part of some misunderstanding and Dev doesn't blinldy agree with a man because he was on his death bed. If this is the plot they are going to tackle then I don't think I'll watch more. I would rather have the S2 happy ever after vibes.

Yeah let's see where they take us.

During the press conference when they mentioned some incident, I genuinely thought it was related to Asha's death because I had somewhat expected her death.

And it would have been better but let's just trust the show and makers.

Yeah. They did show that indeed. The hospital was in Kolkata.

It wasn't the best choice of path I agree. But I'd still like to give the story a chance since the bigger picture is Devakshi's relationship.

And even though yes, the baby swapping was an unnecessary over the top route, it was still interspersed with actual realistic instances of working parents looking after kids, struggling with their own relationship and trying to find a middle ground with the in-laws even though there are clear subtle clashes.

So let's hope for the best and trust the makers! 😊

Didn’t Sonakshi deliver Soha in Calcutta? She had moved there with her entire family after the separation. At least that was what was shown to us. Then how did the baby exchange happen in Delhi ?😕

Also, it was really dumb to show baby exchange happening in this day and age in a private hospital. The minute you have the baby, they tell you if it’s a boy or girl. Even assuming Sona was under anaesthesia, the doctor would inform the family members waiting outside. So this made zero sense, and was not a good start for a serial that prides itself on realism.

The child swap, that too the first girl with a first boy is very significant even today, especially in India. Everyone mostly expect a male child as their first offspring. It is kind of ingrained in Indian culture. It might not be that visible in metro cities, but the moment you step out of that zone, you will see that bias of boy vs girl child very easily.

Dev is a multi billionaire and right now Soha is the heir apparent. And Dev is ok with it. But what happens when there is a male heir apparent. How will the society including Dev’s and Sonakshi’s family react to it. If you rewatch the previous episodes, it is easy to see that Ishwari kind of protects the family from outside talk. Like after the wedding during the muh dikhayi episode. When Sona’s pallu comes off, she doesn’t say anything but just puts it back irrespective of everyone’s gasps and comments and continues. At the same time, there are several instances where Bijoy finds it hard to continue in similar situations. Like wanting to have meat during wedding or during Saurabh’s wedding.

The other aspect is “acceptance”. Dev accepted Golu as his own very easily. With Soha too, he just accepted everything that she was, including her will of testing him. Same with Shubh, he just accepted that he needed to stay with the child and encourage Sona. He will accept Ayushman too in the same way, whole heartedly. But can Sona do something like that. In the whole series she struggled with that acceptance.

This season is her story. They say hindsight is 20/20. In the phase of consequences is when you analyze your actions. You come up with “I should have done this or that, I shouldn’t have done this or that” etc. in the first and second season it was about Dev and him realizing and making amends regarding his actions based on the consequences. This season is about Sona doing the same with Bijoy’s realization of what he did. How he too was responsible for the fiasco of Sona’s failed marriage before.

Better than “ ever pregnant vamp roaming around & omnipresent the iconic other woman”

Child theft and swap better way to engage people ...

I am happy I can see Devakshi together ..

It was not really needed because the moment baby out mom will see , unless she was under general anesthesia but now spinal anesthesia is more of use for LSCS .

But then they were telling Sona’s family was late to reach , Jatin took her to hospital kind of things .

It is very dramatic now !

Every time I will think ... Iswari might take version 3 appearance ... Suhana being a girl , Iswari always treated Dev better than daughters

She might start treating Soha different , it light cause a lot of trouble .

I mean possibilities

...

I was thinking from those 7 yrs they were separated some issues might surface .

Dev’s ex girl friend or relatives or imposters would come up with “ fake child and black mail “ .

Dev might hide will try to deal with “ obrodho” style then it would lead to trouble in marriage

Here the real child is swapped

Let us trust the makers and enjoy Devakshi and hope Ishu’s brain not getting confused .,,

I guess yes Ayushman will come live with them. And it might be a look into how Devakshi manage life with three children. And how the children behave with each other.

Also yes they definitely could have shown Sona and Ishwari's relationship. But I think that's because the episodes are of a limited number that's why they jumped into the story right away.

Is it a limited series like season 2 ? I did not know that.
