Elder Ts are not concerned about rituals or idealogies. Suppose imagine Imlie has higher status to Malini, then they would have welcomed her with open arms. These are the people who live their entire life based upon society’s image but not based upon their personal ideologies or wishes.

Exactly…I felt the same. Anu is atleast straight forward. She doesn’t show hypocrisy - we love Imlie as our daughter as her status is lower to us and we want to show our greatness by displaying love on the Lower class citizens. But when the same girl happens to be their DIL, she is a manipulative girl who dreams to be in the same status as them.

At least Anu doesn’t give false hopes, if she hates someone she hates them heartedly and she doesn’t give a damn about being mahaan in the eyes of society by displaying humanitarian acts

You know I may be extreme, but this is no different from pride killing acts performed by few families in the society.

They are killing her through words. She is a 19 year girl for God’s sake. Atleast they could have given benefit of doubt for their son and their own upbringing.

Apu n CK were asking right questions at one point to Adi. but later it just turned into name-calling n hurling of accusations at Imlie only. N Ts came across as hypocrites.

Yes, they were asking right questions to Adi. But it is easy to blame a 19 year old who doesn’t retort back while Adi has answers for their questions

I am deeply saddened by todays episode😭. Sapne se zyaada batthar the elder ts ke reactions and words😡. Talk about imlies neeyat was beyond shocking to tolerate despite everything good she has done for the family. There is no redeeming them in my book. Disgraceful is the word😡. Imlie was so shattered by what she heard and it was far worse than expected. Bichari ki self worth ki dhajjiyan uda di😭🤗. I was expecting a rational and emotional Aadilie rejection based on the age difference, background difference her compatibility to their family or even to an extent social pressure but writers chose to put it all on the naukrani angle😑

These are the same T’s who called Imlie gharki bacchi jaisi whenever AC labelled her naukrani.

Aaditya already had given hisab reminders in previous episodes by starting with M jaan ki kimat and then his own jaan ki kimat but BK still could question Imlie’s neeyat. 😡

after all this they should at least think of taking matters to SK and Mithi and check their stand on all this, that would be something a responsible elder would do, but I doubt it. All they can do is insult and abuse as reaction.

I think the makers/actors playing these characters themselves are playing this under the name of drama and TRP and whatever stuff that makes ITV shows work...there is such a huge contrast between these scenes and the others...almost like they copy pasted these from social media haters...

so yes today after that #torturewithwater #killingwitheyes I do expect Adi to be lion or white shark...he can choose whatever he wants...dono bhi chalega..😉..vaise bhi tuesday/wednesday are Adilie days...(so much for being non cliched...ab toh kiska din kaunsa hoga yeh bhi hum guess kar lete hain..)

Lagta hai CVs bhi Imlie ko NDE tak pohuncha kar rahenge. Difference sirf itna ki....
