In the corners of my mind
Long forgotten, lost in time
Turning stones to look for light
It's dark out here in the dead night
Pull me back, out of my body
I'm tied to my limbs
They're spinning me out of control
Tether me
Tether me
Tether me
Hop skipping and jumping to a whole new world together!
When I saw the episode where Raavi is running behind Shiva, trying to snag up the velocity of Shiva with his giraffe legs, the first thing that came to my mind is that this girl needs a lot of energy to match up the firebrand, feisty, flamboyant and contemplative Shiva.
Raavi has never been the commander herself. She has always glimpsed up to someone for being her anchor.
Having faced abandonment since childhood; Raavi has an aggressive tendency of attachment a bit too momentarily. We have seen her fascination with her foster mother, her great devotion to the Pandya family, her undeniable soft tenderness for Dev, and finally her fierce loyalty to her relationship. She was in denial for a longer period but was never the one wanting to break away from the tiny Dor that bound them together.
Takes me back to Raavi’s statement, “Kam Se Kam Ek Dor To Bandhi Hai.”
They have a common thread of Shiddat or passionate attachment.
Today, we see a fast-paced allegorical Shiva manoeuvring his way to his workplace, while the timid Raavi tries to catch up. I found seem pretty suggestive where Shiva is running a marathon with his growing feelings every passing second. While we see Ravi tenderly attached to him, she still appears to be insufficiently slow in snatching up pace with him. Their equations, today reminded me of a badly sung but charismatic written song!
Aaja mein hawaon pe bitha ke le chalu,
Tu hi to, Tu hi to meri dost hai,
Aaja mein khalaon mein utha ke le chalu,
Tu hi to meri dost hai,
Aaawaz ka dariyaan hu,
Behta hu mein neeli raaton mein,
Mein jaagta rehta hu,
Neend bhari jheel si aankhon mein,
Aawaz hu mein..
Like their relationship, you can comprehend the zeal of a Shiva who is trying to run as fast as he can. Raavi is striving to catch up her breath, but then she always needs to be tethered around. Symbolic, isn’t it? Shiva tethers her like always, taking her to their future.
He holds on to her with an unrealistic delicacy, not dragging her around but leading her. I think it’s not only about Ravi’s acceptance of Shiva, but also about giving him the liberty to sway her away with him. So, we see the villain trying to sweep her off her feet!
Running too fast! Raavi is trying to grasp up with him!
She pauses; he comes back. Telling her that she needs to learn Uchal Kood because she is married to a Bandar 🤣
Innocent Bits: Ab she needs to learn Uchal Kood 🤣
She says can't 😆Yeah! That's totally innocent 🤣
He wants her to move on desperately without confronting her past! He decides to take matters into his hands and teach her! 😆
Innocent bits: He wants to teach her to hop like monkeys. 🙊
There are moments when I don't know if it's real
Or if anybody feels the way I feel
I need inspiration
Not just another negotiation
All I want to do is find a way back into love
I can't make it through without a way back into love
And if I open my heart to you
I'm hoping you'll show me what to do
And if you help me to start again
You know that I'll be there for you in the end-Way back into love, Music and Lyrics
I've been living with a shadow overhead
I've been sleeping with a cloud above my bed
I've been lonely for so long
Trapped in the past
I just can't seem to move on
I've been hiding all my hopes and dreams away
Just in case I ever need them again someday
I've been setting aside time
To clear a little space in the corners of my mind
All I want to do is find a way back into love
I can't make it through without a way back into love
-Music & Lyrics
I've been looking for someone to shed some light
Not somebody just to get me through the night
I could use some direction
And I'm open to your suggestions
All I want to do is find a way back into love
I can't make it through without a way back into love
And if I open my heart again
I guess I'm hoping you'll be there for me in the end
-Music & Lyrics
They say you cannot make a step into the future without thwarting the demons of the past, and clearing the misunderstandings of the present. We see Raavi leaving the futuristic approach of Shiva, and coming back to confront some of the almost embarrassing recollections of their childhood. Unless, they clear up their past, as Shiva had rightly pointed out-that they will have to start from the start, they cannot begin their new journey together!
