But as I said in another thread, may be the makers didnt really want to promote such regressive stuffs, and thats why they are showing a shift in opinion about these matters among the Jr. Ts as with the Sr. Ts

Agrre. I also am pinning my hopes on them showing that by doing this, they are losing the respect and auda they have earned from their children and society. They need to understand that thier stand is wrong and that they need to behave humanely with Imlie, no matter how angry they are on her.

Let us hope that this redemption journey is worth watching.

I agree with you that house helps are not always treated badly. Some of them actually become like family and we also consider them as such. Here the situation is that somewhere the betrayal has stung very deeply and for them to overcome that is very difficult. Does it justify their behavior - Nope, not at all. But it was expected and not very surprising to me either, so we will have to see how they take this ahead.

Adi humesha Aparna ke priority list me last aata tha, so no arguments there.

When all 3 had gone out of the house and Aparna was imagining all of them, she first saw Imlie, then Imlie & Malini and then finally Malini & Adi. Matlab sabse last and only once Adi ko yaad kiya usne.😆

Aparna loved Malini, lekin rishat wahaan formality ka hai. That is why even when being mad at her, she will never cross her limits.

Imlie ke saath Aparna takes all the liberties. Usse daant thi hai, punish karti hai, silent treatment deti hai, lekin pyaar bhi bahut karti hai. Aparna gave her ghungroo to Imlie for the dance, because she trusted her to do a good job just watching her practice for a few minutes. Woh pyaar se sunana is liye sikhana chahti thi, so that Imlie knew how to stand up for herself if someone insulted her. Which is why even today, when she knew that no one would listen, she stood up for herself and clarified that none of this was her choice. At that point also, Aparna really felt for Imlie, because that connect is still there.

Again I do not want to pass any judgement on the precap, as it may not be what it looks like. We will only have to wait and watch.

Yes Aps!! Thats what I am really looking forward to. They should give a legit genuine redemption track. Dont wanna see them doing it because they are sympathising with her or something else but simply understanding where they have gone wrong, regretting their actions and words and accepting her for who she is. 😅

Even in previous day Imlie said to Adhi that you want to say truth to family since you afraid of humiliation may occur in family also in future. Even there she is not independently thinking the motive behind his pressure for truth reveal is out of his love and move on with her.

Then how could we expect Sr T’s will digest everything in day one it self.

Adi & Imlie ka abhi baat karna would have been a moot point according to me. He would have vented out his frustrations and she would have put in all her energy to make him understand rather than dealing with her own emotions.

As we have seen, Imlie always tries to first understand her emotions akele mein before she reaches out to anyone else. Yahaan pe the ideal person was Sundar and I was so happy to see them give us the perfect conversation after this fallout.

Here Imlie did not want to talk about the marriage or her decision to keep the truth hidden for so long, or even try to explain that usne Adi ko apne jaal mein nahi phasaya. The only aspect of all of this that she wanted to deal with was the "aukat" word.

Imlie had grown up hearing from SK on how people from the city looked down upon people from the village, because they felt that villagers were inferior. Her NN also told her that she is not worth anything in life because she is illegitimate. Even Sundar explained that malik aur naukar ke beech ka farak kabhi nahi mit tha hai, so she should not even try. Those thoughts mixed with her being called a naukrani and being accused of trying to upgrade herself using Adi as a means to reach a higher class, had really brought forth all her insecurities. That is why her question was only if she was seeing sapne that were out of her "aukat".

That is why Sundar explaining to her that her aukat can only be defined by her actions and not some else's labels really motivated her and gave her himmat. That he can change his stance not because of her marriage to Adi, but because of her actual achievements of standing second in the state & being student of the month, showed that she can be respected in the world for being just "Imlie". That she does not need anyone else's name to succeed in life, the way the T's were accusing her of doing.

I agree that the Sr. T's need time. Adi assumed that as his siblings understood so quickly, his elders will also understand. Issue is that they are a different generation with an older soch. That soch they have shown time and again with his divorce & Rupi di's marriage issues, but Adi chose to ignore it, as he felt their love for Imlie will overcome everything. But the T's have been betrayed, so that wound will take some time to heal, which Adi & Imlie need to give them.
