Got an update

So I emailed the lady who had written the indiaforums article on saak moving to ott .She replied that as of now they don't have any more update but the last they heard was that there is a 10 percent chance of the show moving to ott if the budget works out .So the major factor here is budget because when you move to ott budgets are slashed .I don't know if makers are going to be able to move the show to ott . Although chances are very less but we can hope none the less .This is authentic news .I would have attached the email but I don't know how to do it .So I guess we can keep mailing the production house and Disney + hotstar to move the show to hotstar .That's our last hope .

Why is Sp so adamant? When there is a chance of 3rd wave it is better to have already established fan base serials running than launching new ones as if they have to shift and story suffers most of them will stay loyal.. but with new serials they have to establish a base first and then loyality comes in..

Why are they not considering star Bharat?

No yaar saak won't survive in star plus .The ratings are vey low for a 7 pm star show and again please do not compare the ratings of 7 pm show to a 6 pm show . So I guess let's see what happens .Let's hope that the creaters give a logical end in the last 12 episodes left and if the budget works out and the show continues then that will be great too

I don't know but maybe because the show already did not rate well in star plus so it's quite obvious that the ratings will be lesser in star bharat .Also there might be some other issues on doing it I don't know that . Ratings is what matters .And since only hotstar has saakk audience so it's logical to move it there .

I understand… I’m not comparing with other serials..

But here the reason for show being off air is not TRP. Any other show without getting promotion for 4 months wouldn't have survived with stable TRPs. Here they are ending because creatives didn't agree to make changes in story as per channels demand. They wanted Shaurya-Shagun marriage instead of ShaKhi to which producers denied aa it will ruin the characters. So soon after marriage track was done they told to end the show and it's pathetic.

I agree TRP doesn’t seem the sole reason. They stopped promoting when KV was just back after 2-weeks hiatus. Their promoting at that time would have been such a boon for the rating. So seems like there were some creative differences.so SP probably would have wanted marriage divorce marriage divorce cycle which is the only thing they have in all their shows..that’s why they brought Shagun with such passion in their last promo..main Laut aayee Shaurya..😂

Whatever might be the reason trps are a major contributor .Even before the wedding track the trps were not great . Actually from the beginning the trp was never great .So I guess midway star felt the original story is unable to attract the trp viewers so they wanted to make some tv like twists but the makers might not have agreed to butcher characters hence the creative difference.But whatever anyone says if trps would have been good no matter what creative differences they had with the makers the show would have continued and lack of promotion was a factor but then how star has always been when yhpk dropped in ratings then star stopped promoting the show .So I guess nothing new to what happened to saakk .And we can all say that star showed biasedness towards the show then let's face face it they have done that to other low performing shows as well so this behaviour is not saakk exclusive.

But I don't think its possible to retain in hotstar with 10% chance.

Still we should keep trying..

Even if they make it off air they should bring s2 for a proper closure.
