As much as I love the dulcet undertones of Baawra mann I think it is a tad bit too mellow for the scene. It would be doing the characters a disservice to tone it down with the music. I couldn't quite put a finger on the crux of the conflict with the 'dhoopdaani' - Meta or metaphorical but one thing is for sure.. I don't see any manns being bawra here. They don't exactly have the luxury to enjoy that phase of the relationship yet. There's way too much baggage (read: Dev) and unresolved history. And mann ko baawra banne se pehle halka hona parhega .. which is what the upcoming track is all about. To me, these two look extremely wound up, albeit for different reasons. You can tell that there's a storm afoot. Dev's encounter with Raavi at the threshold of their room seems to have set something off in Shiva - He looks extremely on edge and Raavi insisting on fumigating the rooms seems to have aggravated the situation. He thinks it's his essence she's trying to drive out of their room and that's got to sting right? And Raavi can't seem to understand what the chip on his shoulder is all about when all she's trying to do is get rid of the musty smell following a recent downpour. He started a conversation the previous night .. and then left her hanging. She probably still is unaware of the context but I don't think she is completely blind to his changed behaviour. I dont blame her for being exasperated at all the hot and cold.

And in sab jhamelay ke beech ... iss becharay ko pyaar hogaya. LMAO poor boy has not known a moment's peace ever since he's caught them feels 😂😭 Raavi I don't think is there yet but she too is extremely attached to him as Shiva pointed out the night before - Always seeking him out wherever he maybe and yet has no clue about her clearly manifesting separation anxiety.
