Haddh parr awkwardness hota.. this guy has not yet accepted the fact properly that she is a grown woman now. He cannot make himself realize that she has become the woman he needs in his life, not the child but the woman.

It is gonna be a uphill task for Ani to realize his feelings or to even accept it. He will not be able to come to terms with himself for holding such emotions towards Bon.

That's what makes him different from someone like CC who had lusted after Bon when she was a child and continues his obsession even now.

He needs to first see her as a grown woman not just a child. He needs to see her in court winning cases, negotiating arguments, having mature conversations with him etc etc for him to accept her as a woman

Bon is slipping quite a bit here and there.. I think if any one of them get suspicious, they might just trick her to slip up in such a way that she gives away a major detail that only Bon should know.

Yes!

That is the first and foremost thing he needs to see to accept that she has become a mature, young woman who is capable of being a proper life partner for him.

She is no longer this child he needs to protect. His eyes needs to adjust to this new view infront of him so he can learn to accept it and forge a new bond with her, that of equals.

Instead of announcing ki yeh pyaar hai they should have let the audience see the dynamic changing themselves
