Oh god that's totally my trope!! I love OP FLs, especially if its an action novel, I don't mind it there's no romance as long as the FLs good enough.

i actively tends to avoid romance while choosing to read such novels, too much romance and it kills the essence of having a female lead in the story...
Okay there was this show I was watching, the FL changed and the new one was a better actress (many people thought so except her fans). The fans tried to undermine the new FL's character saying she wasn't important to the main plot except she was.
According to them, she "killed" the ML's wife, father and niece but wasn't an integral plot of the story. The ML also fell in love with her but according to them he didn't love her except the first FL. So they were contradicting themselves saying he was with his wife's/ father's killer but didn't love her.
They were called out a delusional and delulu as short. I picked it up. 🙈🙈🙈

Yeah that's one thing that destroys a good FL. You know what annoys me the most in such novels? The ML ALWAYS being inherently stronger than the hard-working FLs, like no matter what the FL does she can never beat the strong ML since he needs to dominate her🤔

Oh btw since you are talking about usernames, and you love strong female leads, IDK if you've seen Chudails, you need to watch it. One of the best shows I've ever seen.

exactly yr, i mean what was the point of making a female lead if you are just going to undermine her by introducing a male lead stronger than her and giving him the reading space more as if female leads cannot do anything without male help.. 😳

I enjoyed it completely though it did become heavy and dark in the end.
I like how there was a contrast between those men who abused their power and the ones who would genuinely help the ladies

Yep that one. Holy f*ck it's so so powerful. Best thing was it's very intersectional. Be it LGBT, be it rich and poor it showed everything and how people are complicit... It's the best thing I saw in a long time.
