I was just looking at some previous performances of SMP and recognized one fact she sang so many different singers songs Ashaji,Sunidhi,Monali,Nandini,Kavitha Krishnamurthy, Hema Sardesai, Usha Uthup,swarnalatha,Priyanka Chopra,Neha and in Male singers Kishore Kumar, Kumar sanu, Vishal,Sukwinder, Mano, Sonu nigam,Adnan sami e.t.c. I would have missed some but even after singing so many different singers I love the way she still never reminds me of original singers when ever I listen to her. Very unique.

I know mostly she gets energetic songs to perform but the way she sang songs from all generations is impressive.

Which songs by Hema sardesai and swarnalatha?

She always sings in her own voice.. It is so refreshing..I read somewhere that she puts SMP stamp on the songs..I wish idol people give her more..

Today's song from chak de was sung by Hema Sardesai. Muqabala AR rahman special was by Mano and Swarnalatha.

Yes. She puts her stamp and style. No imitation of original at all.

I still can't understand why idol team sidelined her since power play so as of now not having much expectations. Just enjoy as long as she is in show.

Yes. That's something I really like what Sony did. Captain Zoya,Manya,Tripat Singh and now Bhavana ji all are real inspirations.

I hope they don't edit out Bhavana ji or judges comments for SMP from real episode. She seems to be really impressed with SMP.

They edited SMP song again. Literally there was only 4 lines in song and no MBD after Himesh saying historic. I am worried for SMP now.

What's wrong with Sony TV. They have some enemity for SMP for sure. The song given is a high pitch song over that they edited out keeping it just 2 min. In 2 min 1 min is for SMP improvisations and just 4 line of song was shown. Rather eliminate her than doing this every week.
