Mandar I think has to be alive- wouldn't make sense to announce an actor coming on board for just flashbacks IMO. Next track would then be Pallavi having to make a choice between Mandar (Deshmukhs would insist, even Sharda) and Raghav possibly.

i heard somewhere, there is some time limitation, if he arrives after that on paper he will be dead. I remember a similar plot in US show, unsure how that works here
