We need Rupi Di to explain her perspective to the elder Ts with regards to her favouring Adi-Imlie relationship. By giving her own example she can make them understand what Imlie has gone through this entire time. I hope we get this scene.

Yes I feel BK might be the first one to hop on the other train esp if imlie tries to explain him too caz abhi tak toh woh boli hi nahi haim.shayad ek aadha din le lein but boleinge toh sahi...abhi tih sach and jhoot ke beech ulajh se gaye hain..ke karna kya Hain. As I said too it was hurtful but atleast he wasn't actively hurling the accusations and chose silence over that until adi egged him for support..but yeah he will take a bit and come on the other side.. cas samajhne ki umeed unse hi ki jaa sakti hai at this point sabse pehle

I loved Sundar's reactions too. He was also watching & listening to everything very keenly. Yeh apni chipkaliya ka supporter hi rahega I am sure. Woh uski BFF hai😎.

I would love if Sundar also gives the elder Ts shades ghuma firake. Even he had started to accept Ts as family members while initially he was aloof from them despite the hasi mazak. Today's scene may act as a wake up call to him as well.

I would like it if he behaves only professionally with the elder Ts. Yeh hi unki sabsi badi insult hogi.

don't think elder T's would care but i think him beign on imlie's corner would be good but then IDk how much importance they want to give sundar so he will be mostly used for comedy hi.. though i would love for them to talk beyond that

Nice post as always AY. What a good episode after so long.

Aditya had been waiting for so long for Imlie to support him and once she did in the last episode it was as though he was set free. The kind of clarity he provided today to every single person in his vicinity about what Imlie is to him was so long overdue. To the characters and to the audience.

Aparna and Pankaj’s words today did feel unnecessary but Aditya and Imlie’s relationship has always been poised to be perceived the exact same way. That of having dragged in the dirt but being the purest form of love in reality. But for some reason I think that even if the humiliation amps up, Aditya will now be with Imlie all the time bearing those insults equally unlike instances in the past when he was kept out conveniently.

I’m actually not too surprised by BKs reaction. The last time I wrote something about the truth, I mentioned that it is especially hard when it has even been just hidden and one has not explicitly lied which is the case with Imlie and BKs equation. I felt he was more disappointed that she felt she could not tell the truth to him than anything else.

But let’s see. It sure looks like some hard days of Malini prem is on the horizon 🤢 but I’m a lot more interested to see Aditya and Imlie facing these battles together.

Quick ones will do more of adi ke fiery expressions later

Lol it was just cracking me up ki placement ke hisaab se Sundar ko BK waale section mein khadaa kar diya for the truth reveal drama 😆….poor guy was just trying to absorb all the info stoically 😆…

Imlie herself will shut that down and insist she will always be his dost to do masti with 😆….but anyways for now, let’s see what kind of convo these two are given in the aftermath of the reveal. Sundar has always been the one who points out the perception gaps between servant and master. I guess they will do another one of those convos in lights of Aparna’s harsh words.

Woohoo what an episode,, can't count how many times I watched it so far.. It is GM's episode thru and thru and he nailed it, even though Imlie didn't had even a single dialogue, ST expressed Imlie's shock, fear, sadness very very well.. Kudos to the writers, makers, all the actors and the whole Imlie team 👏

Episode started with Adi saying he is Imlie's husband and they got married. Aparna remembered all the past instances when they noticed Imlie's suhaag ke nishani and when both Adi and Imlie lied, I wonder why she didn't remember them the days before when Adi told her Imlie is married. Flashbacks se bhahar athe hi, she felt cheating by both Adi and Imlie. For a moment I thought she was going towards Imlie, but Adi got slapped and Imlie felt the impact. Then came C's, one to mock, one to show his spinelessness and one to show her fake mahantha.. Good they left after that. This is T's family matter and C's don't have any business with that.

The first thing Adi will do is, go and finish off the divorce formalities, he didn't like one bit when everyone were talking about Malini. Imlie may take a step back in her guilt but Adi won't let her. He will fight for both of them. Now comes Adi ' jo tumahe killaf hai woh hamare khilaaf hai, chahe samaaj ho yaa phir parivaar'.. if situation gets out of control, he may even tell his family he will leave the house with Imlie, anyhow he has been preparing himself for that from quite some time

But I wish, he also told them that Imlie left him multiple times but he got her back because he couldn't live without her...

Younger T's quietly cheering for Adi and Imlie is so good to watch... It is now younger T's vs Sr. T's. THE GAME IS ON.

For some reason these old scenes of all the hoops Adi Imlie jumped through to hide the truth make me laugh more in hindsight now. Haha

@bold2: Yes, this seems like the most likely next step. At a minimum Adi needs to get the divorce done with since his family is fixating on Malini even more and it’s irritating the hell out of him. 😆….Imlie will likely try to step back but Adi won’t let her.


@bold3: LOL I think that will all happen in good time based on how situations unfold. Aaj details dene ka time nahin tha but Aparna will learn eventually what all Adi Imlie went through and how much Imlie tried to walk away while Adi’s existence literally ends without her.

Thoda toh demo mil gaya hai of pyar mein paagal Adi….lol they will blame Imlie for doing jaadu on Adi but eventually they will come around to understanding ki Adi Imlie ki jaan ek dusre mein basti hai and they are made for each other.

My two cents on Aparna’s harsh words being compared to those of Malini’s and AC’s on learning the truth….

Again I’ll go back to the same point that INTENT matters. That is the differentiating factor for context each time.

AC has been ugly to Imlie since day one, so her vile accusations are about purely blind hate.

Malini’s way of saying vile things is through slow torture and indirect taunts before finally escalating to hysterics as she did when Adi told her the truth. The reason her ugly words for Imlie felt sickening was cuz her so called sisterly love had always been shallow and she had already shown jealous of Imlie over petty things before learning the truth. So hearing her call Imlie a gold digger after all that showed the real vindictiveness in her own personality.

Now Aparna firstly has shown IMMENSE love for Imlie GENUINELY for a LONG time unlike both Malini and AC….dikhava nahin kiya. And so even when she makes horrible accusations now, you can just see in her body language she doesn’t really believe any of the things she’s saying. She’s got her hands over her ears when Adi points out the obvious holes in her accusations at Imlie. Coz she also knows those accusations don’t add up but she’s ranting in anger.

This is notably different from the Malini scenario. Aparna and Imlie have shared genuine depth in their relationship so that will be worked through on a different level even if Aparna ends up using similar words as AC for a bit. Again, backdrop and context matter. Sab do minute mein hawaa nahin ho jaata over one bad phase🤷‍♀️. Aparna is mouthing society ke knee jerk reactions at Imlie right now but that doesn’t make her heart as black as AC and Malini’s.

Ditto.. I keep saying it too imagine the hurt and betrayal she is feeling.. she actually doesn't know what they have went through what circumstances they have overcome to reach this point even if adi is telling her right now ke gunpoint pe shaadi hui thi she is not able to process it rationally caz for her that is a blur and the biggest thing is bataya kyon nahi when they had so many chances they are mostly reeling with the fact ke wohi do log jo itne pyaare and inke itna apne thay they kept them in such darkness time.and again ke agar bata dete toh with time things could have been better but because they kept hiding now there must be some other reason... again as aparna also said ke ab unke paas moonh dikhane ko kya bacha hai with what face they can defend them their own kids now since they in the process collectively got proved as liars and dhokebaaz.. that they should have and baaki ki cheezein dekh lete saath main..they had valid points thrown in between too though we know how kismat didn't let those 2 take action upon them like when aparna asked ke tu leke kyon aaya and adi ka nahi laana chahte thay trust me nahi chahte thay I tried to get rid of her right away but nahi kar sake.

They will never be ghatiya like AC and malini caz these woman have no conscious to begin with. Lol ac ka bekaar reaction we all have seen where that woman was just happy ke she won and now the poor girl will be scrutinized and get hate..that was her motive ke usko khush na rehne de caz of her personal vendetta none of it is about what DC and imlie has or what malini suffered it is about her own sadistic pleasures that finally the poor girl who was sabki beloved wil get treated badly just as AC wanted..for malini too she has been always jealous and always classist and putting imlie down in various ways by pulling her down everytime it was her time to shine be it her exams bw it her IV ya her award..kuch bhi the sheer need to keep her attention on herself.. and how can a village girl be better than me didn't let her rise above. I mean what else explains her first reaction at the reveal was have they slept together like are you bloody serious.. but that isn't vile and somehow hurt of a biwi why caz she manages to sugarcoat when she doesn't malini toh bhagwaan hai

Nobody saw how difficult it has been for Aparna to hurl itna bhi the woman legit is having trouble breathing she is giving them looks in between caz she just doesn't know how the girl she loved so much can hide itna bada sach from her. .. there is a whole section where she complains to PT too ke aapka beta dekho kya kia..all the FB's too.she remembers collectively pointedly asking them both and them negating it and them having that confidence and had they spilled then things would have been different now..we know why they didn't caz SM.nahi chahti thi adi khud nahi chahta tha and imlie had no option but to go along but aparna still doesn't know any of it and usko khud apna bacha bhi utna hi bura jhoota lag raha hai jitni imlie.

One again point to be noted she is not the one being crass even in her insults unlike didi who went seedha about gross questions and those being her worry.. also adi ke reminders are already impacting her so when adi asks her how can she out of all people behave like this woh dukhta hai sharam bhi aati hai pause bhi milta hai but then she gets reminded of the whole thing again so naye sire se she starts over..

No they will never ever be what AC/MALINI are because none of this is to.take sadistic pleasure out of none of this is too just hurt 2 people caz maza aata hai and aur kuch hai nahi karne ko and khud ko superior feel karana hai.. none of it is easy for them given the love that exists. None of it has 1 dimension even in being vile. It is amalgamation of so much that happened and then if truth itself was not shocking enough the way the mother daughter presented it making them look even bigger culprits ke yeh toh apne maze le rahe thay when that was the one time they actually showed physical proximity.. in all this time..in ghar.. they cannot be expected to keep calm and none of it makes them unreal. They are getting one after other jhatka and again it is not like hurt nahi ho raha which is why aparna in her ghussa quickly went too ke phir police ko batana chahiye tha na toh solve it for both of you..one can see her fierce mama bear tendency even in all this..the way she looks down when adi pulls imlie for the phere..or how she visibly shakes and looks at her own hands after slapping adi ..it is such a tiny nano sec but she is shook herself before didi jumps in caz she herself cannot believe ke she can do.that apne hi reaction se darr and afsos bhi hai there is guilty conscience but she really doesn't know what else to say or do..there are so many nuances worth noting that one can miss easily in first watch but nahi..

These people can never be AC/ malini caz none of it is coming from a selfish place and that is the biggest difference along with the intent as you said ..caz yes INTENT and MOTIVES matter. You as a person matter and how things are thrown in matter

Ahh where to even begin... GM was awesome in his stand for his truth. his actions backing up his words.

ST was equally awesome emoting with her eyes today, a silent spectator to the nightmare that was unfolding around her, the words scarring her and being rejected yet again by the family who professed to love her.

Coming to the Tripathis, their reactions was all too real. Apu disappointed and hurt that her son betrayed her. it is hard to accept the news that your son married the help n then fell in love with her, all in a single day.. too much to digest.

It is the older vs younger generation right now.. story is moving ahead and waiting to see the next chapter unfold.

It was GM’s epi through and through but Ritu and ST were really good too 👏

The notable thing was that we rarely get to see a clash of Titans feel between Aparna and Adi like we did in this epi. You could see two equally headstrong personalities clashing while digging in on their respective stances.
