Piu, thank you so much for writing about GauRa and DevTa 🤗 I loved their dance so much (keeping aside the audience factor)! Didn’t see much discussion on it. Can’t wait to read it in more detail Simran stole the show in the DevTa dance! And Dhara was my girl crush as well yesterday! I couldn’t take my eyes off of her ☺️ GauRa scenes are simply heart warming! After a long day of work, these two can effortlessly make me feel fuzzy and happy ❤️

That dance was a mix of comfort, passion and devotion! Kinshuk and Shiny have one of the best screen presence in ITV! They top some of my personal favorite couples in terms of lighting up the screen in each other’s presence! I can’t wait to rewatch their dance! And that conversation was even better! Gaumbi

That's very true about Gaura and Dhara was a dream to look at 🤗I thought the dances brought the couple dynamics so well ❤️

Rishita also warms up my heart! The precap really bothered me! She deserved a tight hug and assurance that she is loved!! The way she was looking at Dev throughout the dance! I hope to see Dev love her equally! Their portion was celebrating their love and finally being able to show the world what they share! Loved it!! ❤️

I feel it's unfortunate for Rishita to have such terrible parents and a toxic family. And yes have their problems, but they have least a lovely and respectful!

Thanks again for these amazing posts 🤗

Thank you so much for your kind words of appreciation 🤗

loved your take on both Gaura and Devta.

Truly, the best part about Gaura is that they know each other inside out, that's what is supposed to be after a 10 year long loving marriage. I love the idea of exploring male fertility here, never seen that being showcased in ITV.

You are right about the fact that Rishita is everything that Dev could never be, that is a reason for them clicking. and that is also a reason for Dev and Raavi not clicking. Dev and Raavi both are quite similar in nature, soft people.. they both needed a fierce personality like Rishita and Shiva to complete them, protect them and be by their side.

Thank you 🤗

You are absolutely correct about Dev-Raavi not clicking! They are too similar to find a relationship so deep! 😆

Let's not even get there. 😆My Dad and Patidev share the weirdest game since past 10 years 🤣.Who loves me more and who has more Haq!!

Sometimes, I feel like a football 🤣Patideb ko Sara Pyaar Dad ke samne hi karna hota hai 😆Too territorial! Still badla on for that post engagement fiasco 😆

@bold, orgasmic nature? 🤣🤣 That actually is very apt! 🤣

Aur nahi tho kya? They were having mini-orgasms in the middle of a reception 🤣

@umderlined, so true. Dhara is like a tight rope artist and Gaumbi is her safety net at the bottom. She treads across not even expecting the safety, but knows it’s always there at the back of her mind. Their relationship is truly unique. ❤️

And yes, if they do decide to explore an infertility track, I hope it’s male infertility

I wish they did 😆

I understand that Delhi is very much fast forward to my city or maybe not.. but all lovey dovey ness at a wedding reception is still an alien thing around me. I haven't seen much of that happening in front of my eyes.. or it's just my own introvert, shy nature that makes it all a little awkward for me🤣

i know i am old school in many ways for my age.. but I'm not much of a PDA person, that's why I think i'm one of the very few people who did not like the dance sequence today much. I would have loved it if it was with just the three couples and no audience, in a different set up, like the bonfire.

Arey, you have to see the kind of wedding shoots, dances these couples have 🤣

All aunty brigade would be so nosy and gossiping!

But, yes, Delhi is a bit more progressive that ways! 😆 Weddings are a big Show Sha!

Creativity that writers have often comes from real life experiences, media/writing/movies they've been exposed to, family stories that have been passed on, etc. I've found that the more you are open to other cultures and languages, the more "creative" you become as you can apply ideas from all these different cultures.

As for remake shows that copy everything, I personally believe it's physically impossible to copy everything 😆. Perhaps the major storylines, but it's next to impossible to copy dialogues/scenes. For example, some dialogues just make no sense in other languages. In Telugu, there's this saying "Mundu vundi musalla panduga" which essentially translates to "In front of you is a crocodile festival" 😆. It sounds so rich and confusing in English, but it basically means, "Watch it bro, you're in danger!"

As for scenes, some character relationships and scenes make no sense. For example, in the OG, Shiva and Raavi are related by blood as you can marry cousins, but the Hindi changed this relationship to be more culturally appropriate. As such, there could be a possibility of Raavi's extended family being introduced in the show eventually. Karva Chauth and Holi are just not festivals that are widely celebrated in the South, so those scenes typically cannot be replicated.

That being said, I don't think COVID should ever be used as an excuse for bad story telling. IMO, writers could use the pandemic to write some of the most unique ideas never before seen on ITV. Global pandemics this well known are honestly a once in a lifetime event (as per the many doctors I speak to). CVs could've capitalized on this whole thing and created something that truly would've lifted them out of the roost.

For example, a realistic storyline, that I would loved to see while they were at the Haveli is:

While Krish and Shiva are busy trying to scare Rishita, Rishita could've been so appalled by the "shared" money concept the family had, that she was inclined to start her own business. However, because she couldn't start a business herself, she could've employed Raavi. Raavi could've joined Rishita's business uncomfortably to be away from Shiva.

While Raavi and Rishita plan out some food related business (they could start a Chinese-Indian food delivery business where Raavi does the cooking and Rishita sits there looking pretty), Dhara could've busied herself trying to think up of ways to get ShiVi together, and Gaumbi could trail after her for her attention.

It would've been a refreshing storyline to see two young women set up some sort of food business. Rishita could've solved the "shared" money crisis by earning money for herself, and Raavi could put her degree to use.

We have seen the creativity of some writers lol

Coz many of the shows on this channel are remakes they have had it easy and some of the top shows actually just translate the scenes from the regional language adding their own twist lol writers have talent but they do try to take the easy way out or are told to keep a certain trajectory depending on the audience or as they say the trp aunties liking lol

obviously relationships had to be changed up due to the cultural differences and even the holidays etc

as for the pandemic they did have to adhere to a certain amount of actors and crew so adding any big storyline was not possible. also the writers seem to want to end every track with ykb lol your whole idea about raavi and rishta well like this will ever happen, they rather just dumb down the two to be love interests or family saviors and in their free time shopping online lol

Thank you so much, sincere Baccha 🤗

Gaura have been shown the ideal couple and it is warm comforting to see them standing together.

As I said I am usually biased towards the girl in the story and I love Rishita- her spark, her insecurity, her temper, her childishness at times an above all her ability to love with her entire being. And simran has the knack of expressing it all wonderfully. I remember when Suman asked her if she has ever made aachar in her life and she told so simply "nahi sirf khaaya hai". There was no feeling at all from her side that she should know it. She is unashamedly unapologetically her own self always. She is not afraid of voicing her opinion or demanding her right.

She came of as rude in the beginning and believe me I disliked her so much but even then it was understandable that she was insecure as the only new member in the family . Add to it the circumstance of her marriage.

About Dev, he is a good guy actually ;spineless but good . Maybe he could have been shown to be a little ashamed at least in front of Raavi ( that could have justified the lack of apology if he could not look at her in the face). Come on, he did not live her but she was at least a friend ,wasn't she? A little bit of emotion about that and I can accept Dev alright. His was a big mistake but it was a mistake he did not do deliberately. A proper repentance is enough for forgiveness from the audience side at least

You are right about Rishita.

She can single-handedly bring such variety in all her expressions and make the room light up with her effervescent charm!

That's why I call her “chota packet-Bada Dhamaka” 😆

This post is GOLD! ❤️

I shall give you a perspective! The writers really don't have much say. They have high pressure from the channel to churn TRP heavy content.

I finally got some clarity on why rishita fell for Dev.❤️

She is all that he could never be.smart, obstinate, headstrong, vocal.👏👏👏

Perhaps that's why Dev could never connect with raavi.she was always shy around him.he saw her as someone like himself.soft spoken, well behaved, polished.they lacked a spark.

Raavi was herself with shiva only.dev never got to see her bubbly side.her antics.

Shivi were very different with each other than they are with the world.

Thanks🤗

Raavi being loggerheads with Shiva has always brought out the best from her! ❤️

I know 😆 Doesn't stop me from complaining though 😆. If they do show Rishi shopping online in the future, I do hope they show which dress she is so obsessed about. I want to see some of the latest fashions, and it means I get to see Dev's face for 2 seconds less 🤣. Also, if the CVs intend this, I don't even mind a scene where Rishi is gushing about something and Raavi just wants to leave 😆 Their relationship would be cute to explore, even if they are stuck homebound and are just two dumb silly girls who have no character except to love their husbands
