Streaming platforms cannot run a show like tv because advertising in tv is way higher than hotstar .From a financial perspective it's not feasible to run a daily saop in ott currently at the moment in india .The subscription based model is still not very profitable otherwise every show can be moved to hotstar rather than making them go off air . It's about business. I doubt SP has any issue if PH is OK with budget Hotstar provides. But if it's not getting trps on channel they won't go on with it in loss. But my problem is that there are lower trps based shows too, toh saakk ka number second aana chahiye....

Article also states that.. Ki logistics need to be replanned and all by PH.. No one likes salary cuts, so that's the thing.. But PH I believe is also rich enough... But pata nai what's real panga... I think channel gives money to PH for the show, PH uses budget for staff and production. Hotstar may pay much lesser.. But DJs have done webseries in past with AltBalaji.. Only if they can get rid of Star ka copyright.

I would have loved to see what they could have done with some of the tracks already shown, on OTT, without the TRP pressure and channel interference. Especially since ShaKhi's falling in love phase with the Shaurya-Astha, Mr.Bhalla-Anokhi, etc. The potentials!

If they do want to keep it on TV, 24th is too soon. They can and should give the show about a month or so to properly wind up tracks - Shastha being the major one. I'd rather have it properly run course while keeping all the characters intact. Not to mention I also have a thing where I want the show to just hit that 200 mark before wrapping up. A crisp, finite show is better than one that drags and is ruined beyong repair imo.

Fingers crossed for what is best for the show!

Slots for those shows are different. For a show at 6 or 6.30 slot they don't much trps. Whatever they are getting at that slot is fine for them.
