Since everyone has already seen it.. I will not give an update. Instead I willl directly jump to my dissection.
Episode dissection - 9th July (Burnt Bridges!)
That's what I will call the episode.
First the Fatejo scene. Hug was ok...little awkward. But what's interesting is the next part. She tries to excitedly go to call Jasso and Fateh stops her. For the first time, he takes a decision regarding Jasso's matter and he is very firm about it. Tejo agrees to his decision to not tell Jasso.
This is very revealing. First of all Fateh is growing as a Character to be equal to Tejo in their relationship. He is learning to keep his stand and take decisions by himself instead of basing on Tejo. Secondly, he seems more aware of the possibility of Jasso being up to her nefarious techniques again which is why he wanted to keep her far away from their meeting. He is being smart here.

Instead of Fateh being the emotional fool...the roles seem to have reversed. Tejo is unable to see the darkness and malicious intent behind her bright smile. She even takes her manipulative care as genuine. Poor Tejo.....
Fappy are very comfortable with each other. I kind of lip read Fateh saying Tejo a couple of times in their convo 😅😅
Anyway when Jasso reaches, things changed. We have to commend Fateh's maturity that he spoke positive things about Jasso to Gippy. Honestly he could have spoken the truth but he chose not to; acting maturely instead so that Jasso leaves their lives. He also said 'them' not 'him'. Which means he fully considers Himself and Tejo a unit.
Jasso is a vindictive woman. She believes she has been scorned by Fateh's attempts to move on and does everything to drag him down. Her proposal was one such weapon. And this time, you all may not agree to me but the JasFa flashbacks were the crux of the episode.
Whatever Fateh had done, Jasso enacted it. In doing so, she wiped all those good memories Fateh had of his love because with them this 2.0 proposal will always be entwined now. Fateh was in pain there. He was anguished. But this pain will now be the building block of his relationship with Tejo. He will finally be able to fully move on because Jasso in her foolishness has actually burnt the last bridge today. He is at a position where he sees his own actions, his emotions and his affections being mocked publicly with her proposal stunt.
Look at his eyes. They fixate on Jasso and then for a split second turn to Gippy too. This means from now on, Jasso will always be seen as the 'other'. Jasso who was always single before will now be connected with another man forever. Fateh will never see her as the unattached Jasso whom he loved.
I must say, he showed a great caliber in gathering himself and congratulating them. This is the influence of cool headed Tejo in his life. Whatever he does, however he acts....it is Tejo that signs through him.
He goes forth and congratulates and they have a handshake.
This one is heavy .....loaded with meaning. Last time as shown in the flashback, Tejo introduced them and was standing in the side with them having a handshake where Fateh was unconscious about everything except Jasso. Tejo stood there but was almost a nonentity. He held Jasso's hand and refused to let go.
Today it was the opposite. Without even being physically present, Tejo was present there. Her presence was heavy and Fateh left her hand first. This time he dragged his hand away which proves that he is finally closing the doors to this destructive past of his. This time, his eyes hold disgust and distaste something that was apparent in the way he had scolded her about manipulating their meeting. Fateh already had a doubt before and after meeting Gippy he knows about her manipulation. Also her antics of proposing Gippy is teh final straw. He sees her not with heartbreak in his eyes but digust. And thus begins the complete and final end of JasFa.
The way he proclaims having lunch only with Tejo is his trying to ground himself. Tejo is his safe haven and using her name, he manages to keep his cool in front of Gippy and Jasmine. Whatever Jasmine might throw at Fateh, Tejo is his saviour to keep himself from drowning.
The way Tejo used to directly Encourage Fateh to fight for Jasso in the past; similarly the parallel is Gippy unknowingly giving Jasso the courage to keep on troubling Fateh through his observations. That's an interesting parallel.
Fateh's restlessness and suffocation was necessary. He was to some extend pretending to have fully moved on. But now he is facing the heat. The best thing is that he understands Jasso's reality. He enacted the whole scene in front of Tejo nearly breaking down. This was catharsis where he could actually reconcile with his emotions. He breaks down nearly only in front of Tejo which indicates his comfort level with her. And his breakdown indicates that he is genuinely moving on.
Because this is how it happens. People try moving on, have relapses, break down and fall, only to get up again. Not pretend to be fully fine the way Fateh was doing the last couple of days. He is finally and genuinely moving on now, and his sudden relapse at the overwhelming barrage of past memories which have been corrupted and soiled by Jasso was necessary.
I must say I m sad to see Maami leave. But she definitely understands Jasso's wicked mind. I would like her to have a scene with Fateh where they are both suspicious of Jasso. The both mistrust her and would make a good team.
Jasso's new plan is brilliant for us because instead of Fateh getting close to her, it will push him towards Tejo😍
He won't be able to stay away and hopefully this will make him introspect on his feelings for Tejo.
