I so badly wanted to say this but kept forgetting each time.. gaana bahut acha hai but damn the moment the male singer started crooning in english, I completely got out of that moment

I'm like kaunsa pre independence drama ke liye aise gaana dal rahe ho.

@bold- agreed.. this is what was not sitting well with me about the entire Vyjayanti thing.. it was fine initially but the ride back was too...modern, cannot imagine Ani being so chilled out about some random girl sitting next to him and holding onto his knee.. it's a village and wo bhi 1900s me.. aise thodi na ladkiya ghumte hai.

But why should she tell he is her husband when he is not? I don't think they will ever question the legality of the divorce because the whole point was to abolish child marriage and so I assume they won't go into the details of how they divorced. It was more in spirit than by law because Brahmo samaj people told him just making it illegal won't work as child marriage is very deep rooted in their culture so he should set an example by breaking off his on marriage. Toh abb toh yeh point nahi uthaenge because then it will defeat the whole purpose of annulling the marriage.

Aise bahut hai.. that's why I couldn't regularly follow BB because I found it very hard to watch so many people shipping the lil girl with the grown man plus the scenes has weird symbolism that kept fanning these flames

But still they had a pure bond and the actors somehow managed to maintain an innocence to the interactions.
