I am a bit surprised that the controversial interviewer from SpotBoye did an IV for Times of india. I remember he had a big tiff with Kapil Sharma.
Vickey Lalwani as the interviewer πππ. He tried so hard to make Javed say something negative about Indian Idol!
Javed Ali πππ. Hats off to him for being honest throughout the interview. I always liked him as a judge. He would give tips to the contestants how they can improve. Agreed with everything he said including how the music industry has changed. And his anecdote of a non singer winning the show due to his popularity and the way he talked was obviously Qazi the winner of FameGurukul. There were many great singers on that show and Arijit Singh was one of them who got eliminated at 6, I think.
What Javed said was somewhat similar to what Neeraj Sir said. Ashish told in his interviews that we artists r inherently sensitive...so these people take care not to be too blunt about their feedback. Javed said he used to give honest opinions but never bluntly told anyone ki tumne bahot bura gaya..bcoz they r new, have come with so many aspirations..negative comments demoralize them. Instead helping them to enhance their skills and overcome the shortcomings is the right approach.
Like how Javed used to do.
Neeraj Sir said the same thing. Onscreen it may seem that they r only praising the contestants..but from multiple interviews of the team it's clear that they get honest and constructive feedback backstage..don't know why interviewers go on and on about this same thing. Specially this guy was not appropriate
