Today was awesome ... just for that conversation.
But there were key players as well. The C family, the T family and finally Adi and Imlie themselves.
The C family was always a complicated one and today was just another nail in the coffin. Speaking somebody else's secret, just blurting it out like that, is a society of manners. In a manner less society there is more respect accorded to individuals and their secrets.
Yahan pe Malini didi ne sacch bata ke kisika bhalayi nahi kiya sivaye Anu ko uksana. She needs to understand that Anu is delusional to some extent as well. Every parent wants their child to be happy and get what they desire. if that want is unattainable, they teach the child to move on. Not obsess over it. in this Anu still thinks Malini should get Adi just because she wants him. Adi ki feelings jaaye bhaad main. just like how she remained with Dev all these years.
I think we will see iske repercussions in the coming days.
Dev ranting ki he is bat gaya between his daughters made me want to take one of those paintings and smash on his head.
Going back to Ts. Aditya does not want more fingers pointing at his relationship with Imlie and wants to say the truth. he understands she's traumatized and it will impact. I think he wants to comfort her and be with her openly and not choti chupe. that's why.
anyways Nishant is more cautious and warns and diverts and deflects.
The T family trying to cheer Imlie who cannot get the questions of the reporters out of her head.
she relents temporarily, coz she knows they genuinely care for her. only to revert to her sadness once they leave.
Adi is so cute here . wants to talk to her to reassure himself, but being mindful of her state tactfully asks her to look for him once she wakes up. she stops him and then comes the magical moment.
Imlie laying out her hesitancy, her fears, her thoughts and emotions so bare happened once in the hut and then again here. she has always been hiding behind Malini Didi ka kya whenever she's had conversations with Adi, except for these two times, where it's only been about them.
Her wanting to tell the truth to spare Adi's humiliation and insult from accusations of having an affair with an 18 year old and abandon his wife for the same gives her a jolt of rude awakening. what she is hearing spoken about him, Anu and there after Malini, have always spoken about her like this. his reactions everytime after makes absolute sense to her now. I loved that entire conversation.
the declaration at the end, that she doesnt know what the next day holds but she'll hold on to the cloak of trust that hes holding. and walks in slowly to hug him. Probably the first time she's initiating a hug. the way he holds her close and kisses her 😍🥰
editing locha just before start of this scene also, but the scene was distracting. jahan aise acche drishy dekhne mile to Anu ji peeche kaise reh sakti hain. woh tapak padi in the form of a PI who has a fundu camera and takes Hi-res pics for further framing 🙄
the Ts talking about what they'll do to Imaliya's hubby was cute.
all in all a decent enjoyable episode.
waise Meeti and SK were conspicuously absent.
@BOld1: This! Imlie for the first time I think accepted that Adi was over and above all. She ofcourse has that realization but her so called guilt has always vetoed it. Not a mention of Malini didi and that in itself was solace!
@Bold2: Radha ji chali Imlie ki shaadi karane...I was like auntyji pehle Imlie ki maa se pooch le ek baar.,,ab toh sheher mein hi hain!
