My opinion is that he loves her, not in the romantic sense of the word. It is a love that encompasses all types of love. He played the role of teacher, friend, companion, husband, parent, protector, saviour, every role ever required by her in her life.

He willingly sacrificed his respect, standing in society and even his family to a certain length for her well being.

He would go to any length for her happiness and to ensure she could face the world without depending on him, he gave her a dream that they could share together and a purpose to better the world with her life.

I also believe that right now or in the near future, he is gonna grapple with his guilt for the feelings of attraction and love that will develop in the romantic sense towards her because though, he loved her more than anything else.. he never had the opportunity to see the vision of his ideal life partner infront of his eyes.

I know for sure the moment he does, his heart will beat for her more louder than ever before because now, she will fit perfectly into that space in his heart of being his lover.

same goes for bon right now her love conclsuion is for the roles played by ani-it is that small girl hurt by anirudh tahat made her brrakdown -abhi she termed her love for her rakshak,guardian,friend,husband,parent and companion, and it is cnoti bon made her realise

anirudh to be honest does not know real bondita -qhich is this byt her heart is as gold and pure as choti bondita.she is still very pure and considerate for ani ,he will see a girl now who is not under social evils but embraced herself as 8 years healed bon

she was way ahead of times and now ebn on elders saying would never accept anything ulsess she thinks from her heart

Sounds like my cup of tea. Even I feel he would be guilt ridden to an extent. As many in the Forum has already said, he is yet to reconcile this grown up Bondita as an adult woman. His reaction to her would be different than his previous ones, the moment he starts to know her. I can quite understand him being terrified if he has made that connection already.

Like you said, she had the potential, the moment her letter found it's way to his hands, it was decided that this is a woman he admired and respected.

He did not know she was a child but he already held her in the highest regard for her thinking and personality.

After their marriage, he just got more and more certain that she is his muse, his dream turned into reality, she would be the "shakti" for his fight against prejudice of society.

Time and time again, it became more prominent to him that she had intricately woven herself into his life as much as he had threaded into hers. She became a partner, a teacher, a best friend, a companion for him too.

For all he gave her, she had also returned the same in her own way.

That's why it is a tricky area to dabble in, that's where the doubts will crop up for Ani in the future... whether she is influenced by their bond during childhood or she truly loves him for the man he is.

I don't think he will acknowledge or realize it until he gets to be with Bondita properly, without all this hide and seek.

He knew Choti Bondita and had an ideal image of Badi Bondita.. however, he has never actually met or been with Badi Bondita yet.

Once he does, I think he will realize his feelings have grown far beyond his imagination for her.

I love such complex relationships too, it had so much depth to dwell in..... I can go on and on with analyzing their relationship and the characters but still find something new to speak on

It is debatable whether he has made the connection or not because of how much of an idiot he is most of the time 😆

His lightbulb only flares up when Bondita comes into the picture and speaks sense to him.

Until then, the bulb is off.

I think Bon will accept her emotions more easily in comparison to ARC.

The only problem is the ideas ARC has fed into her mind of being a zimmedari and some sort chain that bound him from living his true life.

This will make her want to give up her emotions and let him move ahead with his life, she will want to give back everything he had to give up for her betterment, that includes love and a normal marriage.

I don't think they will make her go and confess her love in that manner.

She had already been told multiple times by him that all he ever saw her as was zimmedari... she is more sensible than he is and she has grown up now, she knows better than to force him to accept her feelings like she would have done as a child.
