Second I absolutely love how done you're with jasso, and other vahiyaat characters. Same here. I just watch fatejo.

And @musicgirl I am going to say it's not 'I don't want to share my friend' jealousy. They're not comfortable with lovey dovey stuff because both have a ton of traumas, but they've started to fall for each other. Fateh was genuinely pissed off seeing the investor's interest in tejo. The way he insisted on life partner, wife, that's saying hands off.

Fateh is not in love with Tejo at all.

He is her best friend and is reluctant to share her with anyone. It is here that we need to understand his present mental state.

As long as Tejo is with him...he is stable, perceptive even.

But when there is the slightest chance of her going away, his psyche brings back the feelings of abandonment, the ravaging insecurity and overwhelming self loathing that he had to go through in the past few weeks.

Tejo is not just the person on whom he depends or his best friend and wife. She is also the only relation of his dark past that turned out to be positive and give him an assurance that he is not a failure. I am sure, he definitely has underlying issues of feeling like a failure with the number Jasso has done on him. But Tejo is the only positive thing that turned out good for him in the entire spectacle.

Even if they weren't good friends, Fateh would not have been comfortable sharing her affections or goodwill with anyone at all. He doesn't even like Jasso touching Tejo's mobile. Trust me, if his character is properly studied...he has many issues now.

Wow, episode 100 is here!! I didn’t expect that. I haven’t seen the episode but from the dissection a couple of things stood out to me.

1. Tejo is going to get hurt so let’s just mentally prepare for that. 💔

2. That small Jasmime Tejo scene… If Jasmine gets rid of her ego and selfishness, we could have a much better track than this drama which most people are bored of.

3. Fateh is jealous. I would normally say everything Fateh does for Tejo is platonic but that kind of jealousy where you make it clear that someone is your spouse doesn’t seem very platonic.
Sidenote: I just saw episode 99 and Jasmine and Gippy also high-fived.🤣 I’m convinced the director is obsessed with them.

Your perspective on characters is always brilliant. I guess it comes from your psychology minor. I would love it if you made posts where you dissect the characters. We would get insight into their behavior and some forum activity.

1) + 1. This will definitely happen. We just have to wait and see how. I also have a theory that she might get emotionally and mentally scarred due to him.

2) I felt poignant here. Gave me another theory. Maybe, Tejo would get physically hurt due to Jasso some day. Fateh will be the emotional one and Jasso the physical one. With the way she suddenly fell back on her previous concern when she heard that Tejo fell and the accident. It gives me ominous feeling that A lot of hurt is in store for her.

It is not love but not entirely platonic either. Whatever be it, he is envisioning a life with her for a lifetime. He knows usme kya kya ata hain😉

I mean Jasso je saath toh bohot advanced tha. I am sure he has an idea what being a life partner means😂

Oh they all need therapy. Entire khandaan.

That being said, I think you don't fall for someone in a day. It's a gradual process, and it's very much possible(I'd say happens often) that you are not even aware of it. I think both of them have started to fall for each other, tejo will realise it first because well she's literally a psychology professor and better at handling things like that.

Yeah that's why I also thought he is very platonic and that's okay. He isn't in a state to analyse his feelings. Just a few weeks ago she was the "love" of his life's sister whom he respected a lot and his best friend. It's going to take time for him to reach there and he isn't there yet.

While Tejo, it's easier for her to fall for his small gestures. She never did before and this little things that he does mean so much to her (except he does it as a friend 🤪)

Sure he has accepted the reality that they gonna be together but it hasn't really sink what it means yet. For both of them 😆 They are still like "oh my best friend, I can be myself around him/her, he/she understands me so much"

Let's see how they blur the lines between the friendzone and out of the zone. For me, right now everything is platonic just that he does not like sharing.

Oh lol you are right, that apart from all the baggage, the fact that she's his ex's elder sister complicates the situation a lot. My pov is there's beginning of something, but actual realisation and acceptance will be much later.

While I'd love to see him a bit jealous, I hope it also pushes him closer to tejo, without being a douchebag.

Love is a foreign word when it comes to Indian relationships. Coz when we talk about husband wife then in India it's more based on responsibility and respect. Physicality follows.

Exactly. He is neither being platonic nor fully into the intimate scenario of being husband and wife. He is right in the middle and yes, definitely accepting and showing the belongingness.

Some weeks back I wouldn't have been sure but now I am very confident that Fateh would never give into Jasmine's advances. Tejo's support has cleared his mind and he knows that he has a strong support base in her.

On the other hand Tejo is increasingly vulnerable. With her newfound closeness to another man who was her best friend before and husband now is unfamiliar ground. I don't think she has had any relationships before. And it is completely new for her. She doesn't have any past relationship baggage...she didn't feel anything for Jas. So she is clear on that ground. As such her falling for him is evident.

Sometimes I feel this repeating chorus od being best friends is a way of resistance and safety net for her. Somewhere unconsciously she draws in that safe haven and uses that term to define their relationship to herself, which gives her some semblance of control.
