A personal anecdote about seeping arrangements. š¤£
Despite having a multistoried house at my in laws place, it was all preoccupied by tenants, and rest every family member had their own bedrooms. Only my patidev and I were odd ones out as my husband had left home for education, and his room was given to tenants as well! So, my new life started from my Jeth-jethaniās room emptied for us for our first SR KAAND š
After that, we moved out for job etc outside town, to the big city and have our separate household.
I remember going back every weekend for the first 4 years, and ending up sleeping in the living room while my hubby crept in his parentās bedroomš¤£
We had some terrible funny moments with our pug barking in the middle of the night š
But, I think after four years, my in-laws realised that we too need a room š¤£š¤£ even if we only visited during occasions or weekends.

To give you a heads up, old-style cultural homes don't focus on these tiny issues.
