Very beautiful post. It makes me feel so happy when someone appreciates Ayesha as if I know her personally ❤️ We all know what a good dancer Neil is but honestly I couldn't take my eyes off Ayesha. Her expressions were so good and danced beautifully 😍

Your lines about other FLs dialogues 🤣 Hilarious 😆

Ayesha is a good actor, hardworking and the main reason that I watch the show. She shines in every scene and her growth is visible. She has not stagnated and she is improving with every scene infact. She really makes Sai come alive n often steals them limelight from more seasoned actors. She makes Sai endearing and lovable despite her flaws. Even in the dance i was watching her expressions. She didn't make the dance flat because she as a non dancer waa alongside neil who is fab. She actually did a fab job matching up n making it look great. Plus her offscreen vibe makes her so down to earth, relatable. No antics. No unecessary attention seeking behavior, no "desperation" . Secure, level headed, focused but still happy, fun, sweet aisi hi vibes aati hai. God bless her! May she only do bigger n better things.

Completely agree with you Cheeku and all the others!!

My journey was a bit different. When I first saw the promo I was 0% interested, I thought Virat and Pakhi were married and to fulfill his promise and duty he married a second time with Sai. I was not at all interested in a 80's bolly track 😆so didn't even think about giving it a try. Then I saw some clips on yt somewhere in jan, their reception where Virat says Aai ko bhi pata chalgeya kitni thande dimag ki ho, the scene where he gives her head messages and tells her 'aaj ka kota to pura hogya' and the scene Sai imitating Didi 'kyun hogayi na meri bhavisvani sach' one. I was in the middle of exam period and extremely stressed out, so it was a welcome distraction at that time. I was intrigued with Sai's muhfatpann and moreover a bit confused too as in how can she do so much hak jamaing despite being 2nd wife 🤣I was curious to know the dynamics between Sai-Virat-Pakhi. I didn't like Sai that time, she seemed an arrogant, badtameez, spoilt brat. Neither Virat, matlab his looks, his acting, I couldn't connect to it at all(pls don't kill me 😆 my opinions have changed drastically 🤣).

It's only later I recognised Neil as IPS Zakir, I didn't know the actor but I had seen him in that one serial and kinda liked his performance at that time but forgot about it, I was kinda young at that time, moreover I barely ever know something about actors or actresses or their name or anything related to offscreen stuff (well now thanks to IF I've become an expert 😆)

I decided to start watching the serial from their marriage on because usually in ITV the story before and after the marriage is slighlty different and I thought I'd have enough background info to connect to the story so I started binge-watching episodes worth a month and I liked their chemistry, their SR wala episode so I simultaneously started watching the earlier episodes too and just kept watching for timepass.

See usually I watch ITV with my brain turned off, I don't analyse, don't pay much attention to acting, the story, the details and so on. As long as I'm able to enjoy the episodes I watch as timepass and otherwise I just stop. That's how I used to watch ghum too and Sairat were a bit difficult to connect with initially because they're so layered and flawed, nonetheless I liked their chemistry and so kept watching. It's only when I discovered IF that Sai, Virat, Sairat and the stories' sheer beauty became so clear and I started paying attention to details, characteristics and much more! That's when I fell in love with this show!

Ayesha possesses raw talent and it became so evident during her Aaba's death. I have never been emotionally connected to an ITV serial and so also almost never cried during it(at the most moist eyes) but I tore up at Aaba's death, Ayesha's acting, it was raw, realistic, emotional and impactful! She has aced emotional scenes from the beginning, there's just more finess these days! She's a pro in emotional scenes, I've cried umpteen times during this show, and many times because of Sai and ofcourse Ayesha who emotes it so well!

She was a bit loud and missed the notions many times during confrontational scenes initial days, her voice modulations and dialogue delivery was off but man how she's progressed! I have never seen an actor progress so smoothly , and it's a proof of her hard work, dedication, willingness to learn and improve! I admire and respect her so much for this, not everyone possesses such qualities, I love how she acknowledges her shortcomings and is ready to work on it. For the first time I searched and watched someones IV's and I admire how grounded she is, the positivity she radiates, her simplicity!

Moreover she's lucky to have wonderful co-stars. I read an IV of hers where she told how the actor playing Aaba guided her and helped her through her initial days! And then I believe Neil has also been a great source of support and inspiration! I'm glad that she's surrounded with helpful and kind people!

Ayesha keeps surprising me, I never thought that she would be able to pull of that hot, mesmerised gaze that Virat(Neil) looks with at Sai, but damn she aced it, many times! I haven't yet watched yesterday's epi so won't comment on the dance 😆. So won't say that she's a perfect actress, but I'm amazed that she didn't let the more experienced actors overshadow her, since the beginning, she stood her ground! There are some points where she still needs to work on, but I know that she'll keep progressing and learning with time. She indeed deserves all the praise and I know she'll go very far with her quick-to-learn, calm and pleasant nature.

Coming to the character Sai, the typical FL's never bothered me much but after seeing and adoring Sai, I don't know if I will ever be able to connect to the typical mahaan ITV bahu. But again I reserve my analyse, critic wala brain only for ghum so maybe I'll be able idk. She's been inspiring for me honestly as I'm let's say Veeru type, but at times it's necessary to speak your mind and somewhere it's been Sai who made me realise that, how weird it may sound.

I've started adoring Neil's acting and dancing talent too after watching this show, but I wont go into the details as it's about Ayesha now. Neilsha are Sairat and that's it, ghum wouldn't have been ghum without them, period. Neil's softness, his expressions, his eyes and Ayesha's innocence, fierceness, chirpiness ❤️. Moreover the emotional side of the story, the emotional connection with the story, with Sairat, it's something missing in most ITV serials and what made most of us connect with ghum, and I believe that more than the story itself, Neilsha are the ones conveying and convincing us viewers this with their acting skills and the little touches they add.

Oh damn maine te puri kitaab likh dali 🤣

Like some I was not interested when I saw first promo on tv directly so gave it a miss.I saw neil only in negative role in one of his previous shows.Love triangle is never my cup of tea and here just the mskers want to escalate a non existant one.At first by chance I watched an episode where it was sairat grahravesh then reception. Admission track caught my attention with Sai standing up against chakrams.

Then slowly I was pleased to see Ayesha as Sai improving each day.

It's Sairat which kept me still here and neilsha's acting are top notch in every scene they perform together.

Cheeku, this is such an excellent write up. Really.

Thanks❤️

As you know, I am a very recent entrant in the forum, and started seriously following the updates recently. But I first got hooked to the serial once I somehow saw an insta clip of the "I'm your family" dialogue of Virat.

I was shell-shocked at the emotional power he was able to convey, and even more, by the sheer rawness I saw in the girl who was opposite him. That is only word I could come up with, "Raw". This was no polished actress, delivering lines, whatever she was saying seemed straight from the heart.

Neil is phenomenal. No doubt about that in anyone's mind, I guess. Yup. Raw, it reminds me of something entirely different. Have you seen Susan Boyle's audition in got talent. Raw. And many years later, when you see her on that same stage, she comes off as polished. Polished has its qualities. Raw evokes emotions in you that no polish performance can. Raw is straight from the heart, as you said. Polished gets experience and techniques involved.

I didn't know the details of the actor either, except that I had seen him around, couldn't remember, since the last serial I watched was way back in 2012, IPKKND. Period. Haven't watched anything on ITV since then. And now, this made me look around, saw that I had seen clips of him from a few other serials, and a movie I saw a little of on youtube with subtitles...

I have liked him since JIKMWRKM days😆loved him in Gulaal and DABH the most.

But the sheer power of that scene made me go watch clips, then moved to watching episodes here and there. And what I saw, was pure magic.

A man and his eyes... a calm Male lead, and a firebrand girl, who gives back double of what she gets, no doormat-ness, no feet-licking gratitude, no worshipping the patidev.

Eyes girl. Eyes. It's all in the eyes, right😳

Bold: nailed it.

A slip of a girl, going toe-to-toe against an IPS officer and a gang of familial goons! The rawness remained, and things that I found weird, like voice modulation and pitching, grew on me... it became the identity of a 19 year old girl... and realised hiw perfect it was! A teenagerr is awkward, unsure, raw... and what I saw as inexperience, suddenly became the perfect rendition of a role, which could have gone very bad if in the hands of an older actress, a more experienced actress.

I respect your opinion. But for me, it still is inexperience😆 her voice modulation in zillat scenes exhibited lack of acting skills.

The perfect match. Neil exudes Calm, and Ayesha, onscreen, pumps out energy, no matter how sweet and laid-back she comes across in interviews. The innocence is real, the goodness of both is real, else it wouldn't translate on screen... the ego would come out in the eyes.

Can't comment on off screen. Because I haven't seen off screen😆

And so, I'm in deep.

Now, the dance. The man is incredible, we know, we expect much, and he delivers. Impressive, that.

I am a classical dancer, and am someone petrified of contemporary - all the leaps and gymnastics required. In spite of being trained, if you told me to dance against this man, I would curl up and die. But the girl, the sheer guts it would have taken, i can feel it in my bones.

Appu is a classical dancer. Do you have a YouTube channel where I can watch you perform😳i agree with you on Ayesha's guts❤️

She has come a long way, see it in the voice modulation, the way she carries herself, the ease of emoting, in her eyes... but still the fire, the rawness, the freshness, the naivety, the innocence, the lack of worldliness,... that Sai is... is still there!

The complete opposite of what Virat is!

Totally agree. I have seen her get better and better and better❤️

Truly, they have hit jackpot with the casting!

Yup. Perfect 👌

Le meri special Appu🤗
