I am back to watching and following a show almost religiously after IPKKND, went back to my twitter account to tweet, doing everything possible to save SAAKK. If Star Plus pulls the plug on SAAKK, I would go back to my western programmes (NCIS, etc) and forget this Star Plus crap.

Somewhere along the way, SP has had it out for our show and have purposefully ignored us to the point that even KV expressed his salt about it. I think it's because despite their best efforts, the PH refused to bend to SP and change the essence of the show. Despite bringing Shagun, they didn't use her to create random MUs between the leads. Initial promos showed Shaurya to be a typical SP ML, the actual execution proved he is anything but. Anokhi has never been the standard ITV FL, nor will she ever be. Exactly!! That’s the exact grouch the channel has with the show and PH. It never molded to SP’s usual low standards of ML, FL and third angle.
And the channel thrives on regressive content for sure.

I left ITV 10 years back because of this nonsense.
Came back for this show!
For the first time we have a show that doesn’t have a douche ML, doesn’t have a self sacrificing FL. We don’t have ema or a strong third angle. No wonder SP won’t promote the show.

It goes against everything it stands for.
It’s so sad. Our show and the whole team deserves better. Not just are they hardworking, they are brilliant actors as well.

Me as well.

SAAKK brought me back to ITV.
And in these 10 years, Star has definitely not changed!

If they pull the plug, I will unsubscribe my star channels for sure. In this age of digital media, people don’t need regressive nonsense!

True....I came back after Ipkknd....I even tried 8pm show. To be honest I got to know about this show from their forum and came here...just for a heartbreak.... 💔

They just promote shows like gopi vahu who is good for nothing just takes all the crap from hubby and saas 🙄😳 and some shows run in starplus years together with generations adding to the show where the content is nothing 😳just weddings function only 🙄😳

I don’t know how these shows get trp and why don’t they shift to afternoon sessions😬😬

I actively avoided SP before SAAKK because I know what they were like and I couldn’t stand their content. The amazing thing about this show is how it has given us a chance to meet and discuss real issues with people across the world. It has tackled actual conversations we have had with people in our own lives so realistically! That is but one of the reasons this show is worth fighting for! And we will know no matter what that we had a story that was too revolutionary for mainstream ITV. That our FL was too empowered to be digestible and our ML too supportive to be acceptable.

Every person who has been a part of this project deserves far better than what SP has to offer and I’m sad that our show had the misfortune of being the right content for the the wrong channel. But I’m so happy to see all the love and support they have been getting for the past 48 hours! They deserve every bit of it and more!
