Could you give me?
a moon-blanket night
to keep me warm

a long-gone smile
to comfort me

a pair of rain-blue eyes
to haunt me

a simple soul
...to love me.

Sanober Khan

There is strange comfort sipping piping hot coffee during a drenched rain afternoon, there is a cocoon of solace wrapping yourself in a blanket full of love, and there is peace in soaking yourself in the splendid beach sun basking in isolation and beauty of the shores with turquoise blue waters.

The only word that comes to my mind when I see Gautam Dhara is the chemistry of comfort. When I see them together, the song mentioned below comes to my mind.

We all know these are two people who grew up together. As friends, as soul mirrors and as an extended family. He was never her prince charming, nor she was the love of his life. Yet, they shared chemistry that brought comfort to each other.

Passionate love is like fire. If you love the fire, you can’t ignore the smoke. With passion comes a lot of pathos, angst and madness. It burns you and threatens to consume you.

There is another form of beautiful love known as compassionate one. It's the one that gives you peace, provides you with an anchor of stability and leaves you with a blissful smile at night. That is the chemistry of comfort!

As much as I love passion, compassion is that warm sappy feeling in my heart that is left when comforted with family and love. Today’s scene left me wanting more. Gautam and Dhara share such a strange vibe that it melts my heart every time I watch them together!

The common thread that binds them is their selfless attitude towards their family. Their love blossomed through compassion and continues to be the comfort of their lives.

Truly there is no better way to describe GauRa than the word comfort ❤️ Something about them squeezes my heart and makes me smile! And I love Chupke Se it’s forever on my nighttime playlist!

He was never her prince charming, nor she was the love of his life. Yet, they shared chemistry that brought comfort to each other.”

It is this comfort that allowed them to build something that became so much more! The way he fulfills her dreams of a filmy romance, encourages her to show her talent when it comes to business and holds her hand when she feels lost ❤️ The way she lovingly gives in to midnight food cravings, stands shoulder to shoulder when he needs her and melts into his Gaumbi cuddles I have yet to see such a beautiful, healthy, romantic, teasing, friendly and comforting relationship in ITV! The love and respect they give one another fills up my heart! The way they care for each other like family, tease one another like lovers, disagree with one another like friends and hold each other like partners... so so beautiful! And it all comes down to comfort ❤️

Thank you so much for sharing this post 🤗 I love GauRa and I hope the writers give us more beautiful scenes of them in the future! Shiny & Kinshuk spell magic on screen!

ahhh such a beautiful post for such a beautiful couple

the level of comfortability and compassion the both of them have with each other is truly unmatched and you explained it so easily and beautifully

love doesn't always have to be so difficult and tiresome - as if it's a war that has to be won

in their case, it's a simple journey with multiple, wholesome complex facets

Aah GauRa Thank so much for making this post!

Their love story never had any angst, they always had each other's backs and it was so soothing to see them come together to work as a team. No one-upmanship, no snark. That's what got me hooked to the show. Gautam never had to ask Dhara for anything, she gave it to him even before he realized he needed it. The way she convinced him for marriage, and showed him how to find happiness in the midst of the storm in his life And Gautam standing up for her even when they were not married, ensuring she finished her education, and supporting her in front of Suman ❤️ There was so much love in the middle of the heartbreaks of their lives and the scheming people, even before they were married.

After so many years of passionate, mad, angry heroes, Gautam comes as a breathe of fresh air. ITV either has the raging bull or the sappy lover. Gautam is the perfect balance, where his romance, though, not angsty, is never underwhelming. But he also knows how to show his fury, without getting handsy or disrespectful.

Dhara has become so domesticated post leap, it breaks my heart 🥺 She was so sprightly, mischievous and resourceful- it was a treat to watch her. I like her now too, but she seems a shadow of the past. Its like the house responsibility took a toll on her 😐

Anyways, Gaumbi is there to take of her needs 😊 He can just hug her worries away and I'll just soak in their loveliness ❤️

Thanks for writing about Gaura. Yesterday's scene reminded me of pre leap Gaura. These two share some different kind of comfort. You have put it down so well. They are each other's support, strength and weakness. One of the beautiful, non-cliché love stories ITV has given us. There is some magic always in their scenes. They don't even need to do romantic stuff to grab our attention. I love all the small, subtle Gaura moments. The 10years of being love and companionship is always evident in their scenes.

They both were best friends, got married at a very young age, eventually found love in each other.

He was never her prince charming, nor she was the love of his life. Yet, they shared chemistry that brought comfort to each other.

This is perfect for Gaura. ❤️

I enjoy Gaura scenes because we get to see all realistic things...the noodles scene, the way Gaumbi puts his hand on her give her the best sleep cuddles...these are all natural and such sweet gestures which are more meaningful than the cheesy romance. I loved many moments of Gaura in today's episode. The way Gaumbi's arms automatically encircle Dhara, the way she places her chappa on top of Gaumbi's chaapa...these moments may not have had camera focus...but they have the uniqueness of Gaura in it❤️

Dhara supported him when he was all alone and he made sure she is given the queen treatment. ❤️

Gaumbi The word makes me go awww....he is one of the best ITV male leads I have seen...No ego, no unwanted attitude, calm, level headed and compassionate. Pre leap Gaumbi was a treat...I am glad we are getting him back slowly now.❤️

As much I like Shivi, I must admit that it was Gaura and the kids that drove me to watch PS. They were too good pre leap❤️

Thanks for this amazing post....so happy to read about Gaura after so long....I loved all your quotes and the caps are as always bang on❤️🤗
