There was a discussion on Clubhouse a few hours ago about Aamir's divorce. Sandeep Khosla (of the designer duo Abu-Sandeep) set it up and talked a lot. Karan Johar was also there listening silently. 𤣠There were other smaller BW figures talking too.
Man, they all trashed Aamir so badly. Sandeep was saying nobody cared about their marriage anyway so why is he setting up press conferences for it. One person said it's already the second wife - it's not like it's the first wife that anyone would be interested. Everyone was talking about how they were separated anyway so what was the need for shamelessly trying to get attention during a pandemic. Aamir only cares about optics and that he's creating a controversy to use at the time of his movie release, etc.
I'm convinced everyone in BW hates each other. š¤£

I stand by my comment that men donāt have it in them to love the same woman all their life. Of course overtime the relationship turns into companionship and sometimes genuine friendshipā¦but forever romantic love? Nahhhhhhh only happens to SRK in reel.
If you believe this, I suppose you would be okay with your boyfriend/spouse cheating on you, understanding that he can't love you forever.
Even if he doesn't, I think you would leave him after some time knowing that it has/would turn into a toxic relationship for him, even if you start loving him.

I would not be ok (but I do know family members who chose to forgive mostly because kids are involvedā¦all end up bitter though) as trust and respect are key to me and I donāt want to be anyoneās plan B. I told my partner that I would want him to be honest and leave me if he stops loving me or falls for another woman, but that happens very rarely as a lot of men are cowards and canāt stand the thought of being alone. I donāt go into a relationship with high expectations nor do I lose myself in it so even if breakups suck, Iām ok with the idea that I will unlikely stay with someone forever.

Its not just him who needs to break up. You can break-up with him too if you want.
But my question was, would you leave your husband/boyfriend even after falling in love with him, since you know that he's incapable of loving you forever? Because otherwise it would be keeping him in a toxic relationship.

Of course I would break up with him if I knew, but unless he gets caught or is honest you donāt necessarily know.
And no because as I said, I donāt believe in fairytales or that you can love one person forever (there are a few exceptions but for the majority I donāt believe it is - and older generations donāt count as we all know societal pressure played a big part in people staying) but that doesnāt mean I canāt love or be loved for a period in life. And I may not want to be with the same person forever either. And love is not the only reason one would break up (money, growing apart, etc.). So I will stay with my partner as long as we are both happy with the relationship.
India has I believe the lowest divorce rate in the world but in the UK around 42% of couples end up in divorce so Iām really surprised to see some shocked reactions to my comment. If people truly were in love and committed the rate wouldnāt be so shockingly high.

It's an invite-only social media app that's only audio. There are "rooms" that people enter and talk about various things. There are a lot of celebrities on it and various other people around the film industry like directors, writers and journalists. There was a room today made for Aamir's divorce - Sandeep Khosla (the designer) started it. Karan Johar joined too and there were a lot of other smaller BW people there. Sandeep and the other BW people were discussing and basically bitching about Aamir and how he's throwing his personal life into everyone's face when nobody cares. š¤£
KJo is really active and joins a lot of rooms and talks often. When the Aamir room was going on, Sonam was in another room talking about her fashion sense.
The BW journo types open rooms almost every day to talk about various BW things - movies, TV shows, fashion, gossip, whatever they want. A few days, some journalists did a room about why they all love to hate Priyanka. 𤣠I think one of two of her fans found out and then got their group to harass the journalists on twitter.
I think people are more open and say whatever for the most part because the masses aren't on the app yet so it doesn't really create controversies. You can't dare to say anything like this on twitter.
how did you receive an invite?
Hmm where are Barkha Dutt and Jessica Hines?
Oh well..let me do the honors!
Salman wanted to do the remake of that Italian film on which Sitaare Zameen par had been made, he share this with Aamir. Instead of leaving it...
