From a family standpoint, while he has a family that loves him and that he loves, I think there is a lot of differences in each of their basic characters and Adi being who he is, does not conform to them, and neither does he offer platitudes or justifications or excuses. He is always standoffish and I think that gussa bhara hua tha, that he tells Imlie about, I dont think even he realised that and I think that was what was keeping him away from everyone. Since Imlie invaded his heart unawares, there is a mellowing of sorts, but only towards her. He recognizes a kindered spirit in her, in terms of her value systems. Uske baad to kuch bhi poochne ki zaroorat nahi hain. I was reading a post on Insta somewhere... going back to his breakdown when Nishanth talks of his last wish. Adi breaks down in Imlie's arms and says "Angrezi Bakaiti nahi chali" Imlie responds with "Koi baat nahi... hum aur hamari bewakoofi hain na... "

Anybody else listening to this would need explanations... the minute he said angrezi bakaiti nahi chali, she understood what he meant... and that he has given up hope. She reassures him. I am there, we will figure out a way together. That language spoken and body, will come when you are in that space.

Also, he is a person who takes things at face value. What you see is what you get. He does not understand the nuances until and unless it is Imlie... and many a times he has missed there also.

Adi is not a person who is worries about everybody not even for his family. Only person he worries about or he cares about is Imlie . If Imlie find out about fake BF then she will be back to square 1 with mai ne apni badi behan ka ghar thoda rant. That is what Adi afraid of. He don't much care about KC. He care only about how he can make Imlie his 😆

I am glad that my words were able to help you understand Adi's character better. I think that people tend to judge him very quickly because of his past actions without seeing all the sides of the situation. You were not alone, infact your concern was still valid. Just that sometimes we need to look at the full picture rather than just one dialogue or reaction.

I do think this is all building up to the truth reveal😆 Itne bade tamashe ke baad aditya kisi ki sunega kya??

I'm interested to know what do you'll think are possible reasons for Aditya to postpone the truth reveal😛

Yahaan pe I agree with both of you. Adi wants to be selfish. He wants to move on, Kyunki even if Malini has not moved on, thaee is nothing he can do to help her there. Woh Sindoor kand ke baad the next morning he had told Imlie that I cannot give Malini what she wants, I do not have it in me anymore. That was his stance before knowing about KC.

Also, for Adi, Malini moving on will reduce his guilt, but her nit moving in will not change his resolve. He has made up his mind that he will spend his life with Imlie only and I am glad in someway that his stance is clear like this. Achcha hai ke he is getting doubts that Malini is not moving on, coz then that puts the onus on him and his feelings for Imlie as the reason for the divorce.

That is also why he is playing it smart with Imlie, coz agar use bhanak bhi padh gayi that Malini has not moved on, woh AM ko saath lake rahey. So as of now he is willingly playing dumb to resolve the situation so that Imlie in her sacrificial mode not ruin 3 lives. So I don't think him having blinders is a bad thing, atleast till the truth comes out.

i dont.. i mean i was team truth delayed.. but looking at the whole thing playing out the way it is.. i think truth will be revealed..

i cant think of any other kaand happening so soon... unless nishant/any of the ts or YKW gets to hospital there is nothing will shake him.. unless imlie refuses..
