Aaditya’s shallow behaviour for M irks me too, knowingly or unknowingly or with any other motives like for the sake of Imlie, he is not treating M right and that needs correction. Hope We see some development from this.

I do not think his behaviour with Malini specifically is shallow. BS ko Imlie ke alawa baaki saare relationships are only this much. While he shares his thoughts and worries sometimes with his siblings or his family, his deepest connection is with Imlie only. He does not do it purposefully. He respects Malini and considers her his friend, best friend even. Lekin she will never be his priority. Uske feelings important hai, but pale in comparison to Imlie. He does not do it on purpose, he is just wired that way. Which is why he is willing to take things at face value because it suits his purpose. It does not make him callous, because woh jaan bujh ke nahi karta. Bas abhi KC ke truth ko sach manana uski zaroorat hai to keep Imlie from backing out of their relationship. So he is willingly putting blinders on. But he has always been honest with Malini and never led her on or given her any signal that he has any lingering feelings for her. So yeah mujhe nahi lagta hai that he is doing anything galat by being a bit selfish.

AC is an unusual take on TV vamp.

She has a knack for reading people behind what they present to the world or sometimes even to themselves. Combined with her deep routed selfish motives and nasty ways to achieve those makes her toxic. How much ever what and how she did was wrong, none of her doubts ever were wrong. From Dev to AM to Aadilie to MK she sees what many fail to even notice.

Nakali nani also somewhat falls into this kind, very early on she saw ‘Joda’ vibe in Aadile even before rain night scandal, she was the one to clearly saw fake portrayal of couple in PD, she always knew Satyakam-Mithi angle as well.

Both these characters are not regular negative characters we see. 👏 for writing and maintaining those.

it would have been interesting to see one from the bheed of puppet T’s (particularly senior ones) had this ability and then use it in right manner. T’s are delightful as bhara-pura pariwar but none is an individual character. They as unit are always oblivious to their children’s life issues be it Rupi di, Nishant or Aaditya.

AC and NN are consistent from day one, that's why they are very interesting antagonists. They pick up subtle cues and changes in body language, bucause they are specifically hardened by life. They have an extremely cynical world view point, so have always been able to see the actual reason behind people's actions. Also they have always been very upfront about their views and actions, so unke saath jo dil mein hai woh muh pe hai without any filters, which is refreshing to watch in terms of characterization.

Our T family is very good coz unke saath kabhi aisa situation nahi aaya where they had to look beneath the surface or have been cheated by someone they love or trusted. So that is why they easily belive what is shown or said to them.

True. This point has proved many times. In recent English exam episode jst after Pallavi went when imlie tries to cheers up nishanth, poor girl get scolded by Adhi, then Nishanth has to open his mouth and said she was trying to cheer up me. He didn’t even noticed by suddenly every body in a fun mode. His only concern was imlie.

Even after Rupi knows the truth he doesn’t take time to talk … he open up to his siblings only in extreme end …

He is honest person but worried about his family and all how they will effect when marriage truth come.

Between I really want to get truth revealed asap. Regarding function bts I have a doubt why AC DC and Malini is there in T house… C people seems to be in normal constume. I want Adhi to call every body to T house and tell the truth. And get scolded by every one at a time and there after no worries 😉 ( I know it will come true.. but wait for drama)

First off, Happy 200th episode to all Imlie fans🥳. We have reached the much awaited milestone. While today's episode was a mixed bag forme, thought to start the thread so that we can together contemplate what happened today. Everyone deserves a round of applause for making this amazing show a hit!

I am not going to go into a synopsis, coz utna bhi interesting nahi tha, just going to jump in with some of my observations:

1) We got some continuity from yesterday's episode with a conversation between Adi & Imlie regarding telling the truth. While Adi's foreboding came true in the latter part of the episode, both of them right now are wary on how to manage the truth in a way that it does not come out in a wrong way and cast questions on their marriage. Adi has been clear from the time he accepted the marriage that he will not allow anyone to say anything bad about Imlie or his relationship with her. So we have to see how today's revelation will affect Adi & Imlie's relationship with the truth

Aditya's fear is going to be true but i am still holding out hope that this incident wont able to tarnish Imlie or Aditya's image.. Whenever Anu has planned for a public spectacle the whole situation has backfired on her so yeah kind of excited to see how does this one play out..

2) I did not mind Imlie today, specifically because her character seemed consistent to me. First when she discusses with her mother of lying for so long that telling the truth frightens her. For an honest person like her, this was a huge confession to make. Meethi's response to that saying that if she had considered SK's feelings, she would have married him 20 yrs back. It was a subtle nod from Meethi that Imlie needs to prioritize her relationship with Adi as soon as possible by considering Adi's feelings as well. Then her entire confrontation with Dev was as expected. Imlie knows the man is not bad, just a huge coward who cheated her mother. I still dont think she has forgiven him, it is just a tenuous dhaaga that is there, where she is willing to give him a chance based on respect for her father's word, nothing else. The reason I felt that was her thought that when marriage truth comes out, she knows he will not be able to keep any promises he was making. Imlie Dev ki fitrat se waqif hai and I am glad they showed that, despite her giving him a chance on SK's behest. The entire college drama is going to go out of hand, we know that. I just hope that if nothing else, she has friends that support her, as they did show her ragging wala friend shooting for teh show. Pata hai that either Malini or Adi or Dev or herself, one of these people will do something, jo humein kal hi pata chalega.

@red - ohh i so agree with you.. its just formality from her side.. she likes him but she knows he will be first one to turn his back on her the moment things go sideways for Imlie. Its more out of respect she has accepted Dev as another potential relationship.. she gave him a chance its upto him to prove her, SK n mitthi correct..

3) SK - SK ke baare mein sunke, first I was really disappointed. On seeing the episode my disappointment reduced a little bit. The guy was still mad it Dev, but was willing to give him a chance to try and SK landed up being the bigger person. I still have a hunch that this is not the end and when SK finds out what happened in college, there may be a Dev-SK or a SK-Anu confrontation. I may be hoping for a lot, but it never hurts to dream. But I am still very upset that they butchered his character so much that he made Imlie accept Dev. That just was not done, but hum kya hi kar sakte hai.

ok minority opinion but i somehow felt SK was still in character.. he is always knows to do justice so how does giving a fair chance to a guy who is begging for it is different.. Dev ran away from mitthi.. but he never knew about imlie.. thats the saving grace for Dev.. he has definitely sinned mitthi but that was knowingly imlie paid the price of it unknowingly so i get what SK must have thought.. he is still trying to give Imlie a right lesson in life.. be better than your parents.. it must have been extremely hard for him to do and doing that definitely makes a bigger person

4)AC - You know, as much as we hate her, kudos to the makers for making her the one character that has been consistent from day one. She was vicious then and continues to be vile even today. Her stance has always been very clear and she has stuck by it all through this time, never changing it for anyone, not even her daughter. Today's tamasha was somehow foreseen, as I had thought she will go to Imlie's college (Usne apne story pe us backdrop ke saath pic dala tha, so knew that she would go to college to create some drama). I am happier that she took this route to make Imlie's life, as it makes sense that she wants to humiliate Imlie for hurting Malini. How this goes and who faces her tomorrow is what is to be seen.

i have love hate relationship with AC.I hate her for her language but i love her as she makes the story move in right direction. All her actions to give justice to her daughterhave brought a welcomed changed in Aditya n Imlies life. It was her that made Aditya take the 3rd PD trip. it was her who made Aditya tell the truth and now its again going to be her who will further the story from AI perspctive..

The flicker of hope that aparna had in last couple of episodes will evaporate again today. After this.. a public spectacle of Aditya and imlies relationship things are never going to be as they were at episode 98-99..

All I can say is that today, while the overall drama quotient was high, not one my favourite episodes today.

as much i wanted a dhamakedaar episode i am hoping to get an dhamakedaar ending to this sequence.. i will be happiest if the marriage truth comes out.. but the fact thats their trump card i am not sure if it will...

but i am hopeful that atleast imlie will accept her marriae with whole heart.. she is scared that she doesnt deserve happiness and this is where she will stop worrying.. i am hopeful.

PS - I am still for team imlie.. she will stand up for herself.. and now that u mention her friends.. i think they will too.. ohh how she has build such a strong cushion of relationships which never lets her down..

On the SK front, as I mentioned, watching the episode reduced my disappointment a bit, coz he was mad at Dev when he first saw him, so woh krantikari kahin gaya nahin. It just irks me that he was so muted with Dev. But somewhere I think that is also because he is not aware that even after knowing the truth, Dev allowed Imlie to be tortured at his home. Jis din use Dev ke kartoote for Imlie pata chalengi, then only will his kehar actually come out on DC, I hope. While I understand he needed to be the bigger person here, I miss his "Shehri" wala taana for Dev. Thoda toh tamanche dikha deta toh kya jaata. (I know jail jaata, but you get my point).

Shaadi ka sach abhi ke liye toh aane se raha. That will take some more time. Us doran we will get T family suspect an EMA because of Imlie ke maang mein sindoor and woh ek alag track pe jayega.

Mera ab sirf ek wish hai, which I know may sound silly and will get chopped, but still want to put it out there. I want ke yeh EMA suspicion ke wajah se the you ger T's try to convince the older T's to matchmake Adilie. Yeh agar mil jaaye toh mazaa aa jayega, but that is not going to happen, so🤷, jo hoga dekha jayega.

Aapke muh main whatever you love to eat. Yaar we need some good stuff to come now. Dekhte hai what the makers give us. But we crossed the 200 wala milestone, so let's see what more they give us.
