Well, partially I guess the reason is my inability to converse in marathi. I am part maharashtrian ,but I am not fluent, and earlier I was worse, so I usually had to shift to hindi even though I didn't know that as well. And yes, my hindi teacher as well.

I have lived in Bangalore for 2 years and have a few Kannadiga friends. You have the best knowledge of Hindi among them. Actually I was quite surprised that it is not your first language. 👍🏼👍🏼
