Jokes apart, I don't think she intended to dress up as a widow. In fact, there was something poetic about her wearing the same attire she wore when she made a public 'transition' from being a widow to a married woman. (I apologize for my wording here, I know it sounds really technical insensitive, I'm just not able to phrase it better and still make the point)

I do wish they'd paired it with a colored blouse though. Would have maintained the sobriety of the look, but not looked so in-your-face white.

Arey jo pehni thi wo bhi chal jati..yellow green wali. Amma se maang leti ya dukaan se le ati apni..Saree ka dukaan hai wo!! I don't know..felt odd..She was specifically looking for that white saree she wore at their reception so not sure if it was ''not intentional'' ... that saree has got no nice memories associated with it.. their reception was not exactly something either of them would like to remember for any good reason..

Why did Pallavi have to go in a white saree? Halke rang ki saree was ok..but white? Now she is Raghav's wife...she shouldn't wear white aise hi.. I dunno.. felt odd.. as if she was dressed up as Mandhar's widow.

That's probably to show Raghav feeling uncomfortable the entire time in the upcoming scenes.

Where was it played?

Maker's wanna show that I understand and we know he would be uncomfortable regardless... But why would Pallavi the character want to make Raghav feel uncomfortable?

Pallavi jhaadoing Ved was a great scene. It was hilarious, for one, which I'm so, so glad for. I know this track is going to be an intense one, but I'm 100% all in after today, they've given me the assurance that they do know how to break up the intense episodes with occasional laughs without doing a disservice to the seriousness of the story.

I may be reading too much into the Pallavi/Ved conversation, so feel free to call me out on it, but I found it fascinating that this is the first time since his return that Ved seemed caught off guard. He was bewildered. He's been successfully playing mind games with Raghav for a while, and is now trying those tactics on Pallavi- first through Sunny, who failed, and then he himself, and he failed too.

It tells us that as well as he does know Raghav, he doesn't know Pallavi at all. He's banking on her to respond in a certain way, and she's not sticking to the script, making her a bit of a wild card in his plans. Is he going to change tactics? Will he figure her out as well as he has Raghav? Add to that, Raghav seems to have a much better hold of himself after the conversation with lungi wala Raghav- it may or may not be the right call, he may or may not stick to it, but having made that call alone has grounded him significantly, and he's determined to deal with Ved, with a slightly clearer head for the moment (let's see how long it lasts, though...lots of storms on the horizon).

The show's never done comedy moments just for the sake of it- even the jhaadu one had poignancy tied to it, so I won't be surprised if today's phone call also is an indicator for what's to come.

Nice episode.

Raghav is slowly going back to his form.. He decides to overrule his alterego and keep the past hush hush.. so atleast he knows that pallavi deserves to know the truth.. but his selfish side comes out seeing the she and his amma are truly happy in the present so y delve in the past.. and that he’d handle ved his style.. but boy.. this not coming clean is going to literally come back to haunt him..

Sai and shivangi were too good in the workout scene..the whole scene was too good.. i loved the hair removing part when she was meditating.. lovely moment.. chalo finally the confident raghav turning on his charm for wifey.. and wifey toh 2 secs mein phisal gayi..

So pallavi doesnt remember mandaar’s bday.. but i liked amma’s reaction to that.. so many changes and pressures and priorities in life, people tend to forget..

pallavi’s white sari for the pooja is an exaggeration by itv standards.. also i think with the impending mandaar’s return, the writers probably want to keep the suspense and confusion in the audience intact... mandaar’s widow or raghav’s suhagan!!

Ved.. i hope he is around after mandaar’s return..

Precap: pallavi being sherlock ki nani...

Today or before?

Anyway, today it played right as he said 'ladkiyan mujhpe se nazar nahi hata paati', the Malayalam lyrics from the song. The same Malayalam lyrics play over the first shot of the first episode of the show, as the camera pans Hyderabad.

I remember it because I got a little annoyed as to why they were playing Malayalam and not Telugu music, or something more connected to Hyderabad while watching the first episode, so it stuck with me.

Absolutely.. Pallavi is ''out of syllabus'' for Ved.. He got an idea from Khajoor that she is fiercely loyal towards Raghav and will not listen to anything against him.especially from people she already mistrusts and hates..she's not the gullible wife Ved thinks most women to be, who will believe any random stranger and doubt their husband and pick up a fight.. After confirming himself what Khajoor told him, Ved will re-adjust his game plans Im sure.. He is a smart guy and he is relentless...excited to see his next move..

Agree with you. Ved was banking on Pallu but she turned out to be a complete wildcard. He never expected her to be that fierce and loyal to Raghav and Ved lost his master Trump card baithe baithe. I am so glad this conversation nullifies Ved's power he thought he had on Raghav.

And Raghav's talk with his inner alter ego was much needed. He was so disturbed and guilty and he really didn't have a standing to deal with the punches that Ved was landing on him. At least the talk he had and the decision he came to did calm him down. We don't know if the decision is correct or wrong yet but at least Raghav has gotten his mind and heart to be stable - he needs this stability to deal with Ved

Not having light saris was just a joke 😆

So it's obvious that from a show perspective, they're dressing her like that because they want to hammer the whole 'Mandaar's widow, Raghav's wife' situation into the audience's mind visually. In show though, I don't think Pallavi's thought process was ki 'oh, I must dress like a widow', but more of that's the only light colored sari she has, so she's wearing it. Plus, it's just going to be to give Raghav some extra jhatkas because he's been hallucinating her in that sari.
