Yes but the kind of society the show has shown. Women are blamed more, and illegitimate child will never be welcome, no matter what excuse she makes.

I was however wondering if Rhea’s truth is out soon; it could be another plot twist about the identity of the real father of the child (chacha hi toh nahi 😲) or maybe ishqi will help her get justice..

In a traditional Indian setup, it won't work, but then divorcing wife and marrying pregnant ex is also not something that goes with tradition. If revaltion of pregnancy happened before marriage, there could be option of Rheaan marriage.

Years ago, there used to be series like star best sellers. It used to have meaningful short stories.

In one of them, the show an old couple have a child. In reality, the child was actually their 20 something daughter’s (I saw this years ago when I was in school.. I think around 11 years old.. but still remember for some reason). The daughter gets married and has her own family.. the child finds out the truth years later in his teens.

There are many ways in which the Rhea’s family can keep the child without risking their reputation. Involving Ahaan would only make her secret public. Sarla too, would eventually find out and personally tell everyone about it.

She’s shown to be flithy rich. If her dad can buy a hotel as a wedding gift, she can surely settle abroad.

I personally know someone, she had a divorce because as per her husband the child wasn’t his (don’t know what the truth is).. so her parents adopted the boy. She had a second marriage and again divorced because she wanted her second husband to adopt him ( not sure of the credibility as I have only heard from her) 😕

I would have taken her insisting on marrying Ahaan if she really loved him or even obsessed with him. But she doesn't feel anything for him. She was not even planning on doing pregnancy drama until she saw dadi's efforts to break Ishqaan after marriage. She is not at all serious. She is like "mila to achha hia, nai to nai"😆 Bas luck try kar rahi hai.
