My opinion here is....if we see the whole story till now, we can say amrit was not in love ever...but if we see only S1 then there was love in her eyes.

Before leap everything was fine....but then they sued up.....

And when now i look back (after leap) .......then now it feels like amrit was not in love with Randheer ever

But if we see it in parts..like see only season 1 then there was love in Amrit's eyes...

So i agree to opinions of you both

Yeh bohat hi diplomatic answer tha but ironically this seems the most easy and right answer 😆

Also, c'mon folks, we can disagree about her even pre-leap, ye bas mera opinion hai coz mereko potiential dikha, I wont deny I did not like her intruding in her Veerji and Bhabhiji's life even then especially with the Faruq track and post it toh jaane hi do, just that her equation with Randheer seemed to have some different meaning in my view, which got ruined in the bigger narrative too! 😈

I'm obvio not gonna hold it against anybody here coz ye apna VashMay(Dha) DT hai and you have full right to have and express your own qualms about her behavior with the others, infact main bhi agree toh karti hi hu 😎

Han it's just a healthy Discussions.... Even if we don't agree konsa ek dusre ka baal nochna start kar denge hum 🤣

YES ---> Remember I said literary love. What she felt for Randheer's thoughts, not simply Randheer as a person. Those letters had meaning in them, a validation that her stories had the potiential to make a difference, he was her guiding light and was encouraging her to take them on when he read out those stories on the radio. When she got offended that he took credit for her work, and then once she realised his motives, was okay with it, allowing and sharing it with him, that is a version of literary love to me. She had the love in her eyes when she heard him talk about her work in a positive light and defend it in front of Lalaji, when Lalaji was mad at her for it. She did come clean about her attraction for him when Randheer and his family admitted they came there for Amrit, and for the first time went against her Bauji for something she believed in and wanted in life.

If they would have gone truly more in depth on her dilemma where Lalaji and her war it out on her authoress dreams, we would have been able to see a stronger side to it, where she would walk off with Randheer because she would realise it is for the best when the Raizadas supported her over the Sahanis. Maybe it might seem to be a childish version compared to VashMay's which is a lot of fan's basis for comparison, because it had not been explored properly in that sense before the marriage, and they inserted cheesy romance OR tried to put in traits from the other couples into them, but the glimpses were surely there when KB and RR track was going on. Aage uska falooda bana dia by making RR a typical iTV bahu for her sake, and that got completely closed off!

Like I have said in my analysis, this literary romance plot was not extended post Vashma's nikaah, and they lost plot for me, so I have clearly stated I dont defend the story or THEM post that point! I am just pointing out to the initial comment you made about her love pre-leap and with respect to how it fit in within the overall narrative ~ It was her flaw that she could not go against her Bauji, and it was her learning curve which was avoided in the entire leap-pe-leap fiasco 👍🏼

I am getting your point.... But Jo tumhare liye literary love hai, I call it infatuation. Infatuation or attraction is not always physical.... You can be infatuated and attracted towards someone's thoughts, someone's qualities.... Randheer was opposite of Lala Ji. Jo sawal Amrit Apni diary mein likhti thi wohi sawal Randheer directly Lala Ji se karta tha so that was attraction and respect. Loves makes the other person equal NOT superior. AmDheer considers each other superior and that's exactly why I think it's not love. This is completely my opinion. My version of love is this and your version can be different afterall hum dono do alag Insaan Hai we can think differently. I fully respect your version though. 😳

Literary love is because the love was for each other's art/talent ~ in this case Ranjan's writing versus Rai Sahab's radio and shayari, the medium is important to note, maine ROMANTIC love ka naam liya bhi nahi hai, for you to use the word infatuation here. I am not saying she had a teenage crush on him, I am saying she loved how his dream was a driving force for maybe maintaining communal peace in Lahore as Ullu Lal, and he loved hers as promoting women rights and choice for them to be able to choose their partner! The attraction also was because they both wanted to change the world with their art, or so they seemed to want in the first 20 episodes atleast, and that was their novelty

They had potential to have a great story on literary love which was begun but NOT explored, in elevating them to take the place of main couple. They did initially sorta seem to treat each other as literary equals in the KB/RR track, lekin baad mein the power play was changed to fit narrative and the love never emerged again. In all, show barbaad ho gaya! We are literally making the same point, different words, I am still putting them in positive/promising light on that fact, you are portraying them from your perspective. Bas itna hi farak hai 😆
