Na, that time context was different. He was planning to leave Imlie in PD and go back to Delhi to continue being with Malini. But seeing Dev he realised that he was doing the same with Imlie what he did with Meethi. Also, he assumed after he went back he would be able to keep both worlds seperate, but as Malini is Imlie's sister, he will never be able to keep them apart forever.

Even if we blame it on that he is in beti ka sasural, or has come out of jail, then had they given him one dialogue saying that if I had bit just come out of jail, or if I was not in beti ka sasural I would have given them a piece of my mind, it would have still made sense

counter 3 - SKs reaction seems mild to what we saw in PD for two reasons.. one he has moved on from this fact.. baba vs dadda ladhai.. he is imlies parent and thats all.. he just didnt witness what happened there so he is just going by hearsay.. i dont see Sk overreacting by hearsay,,, and currently being support is more important than justice.. again i m trying to see it from characters point of view.. not as audience..

@bold - was he??? that time they had not given any concrete plans for him.. he was just planning to return to delhi.. he has never shown to have a long term plan.. but he was sure he loved imlie.. and then he was distant to malini when he came back.. so he was also uncomfortable.. even if imlie would not have come back he would not be able to continue with the fasade for long..

even in that case the two worls would have been seperate but them being sisters it was always going to be difficult..

Kind of agree on the SK bit, not so much on the first recounter (don't know if that is a word, but I will roll with it😀).

See intrinsically Adi always knows when she wants to bhago, as he always tells her that don't even think about it. I do not deny that he is scared, my issue was that scene felt out of place without reference. Matlab thodi der pehle he hugged and kissed her forehead, held his hand and come back to T house with him. She went inside without talking as she was still upset and he understood, which is why he explained that she is in shock. Phir he again reassured them that he will take care of her no matter what. Phir dhap se we are shown he is worried. Why? Did she say something to him? Kya usne use potli baandhte dekha? Did she give any inkling that she is leaving?

Baaki sab chodo, main point is this - SK and Meethi are in the city, bhagegi toh jayegi kahaan? Chaturvedi house? 😆Ya phir PD to her NN😆. If she goes to Meethi or SK, Adi can find her and bring her back, not like he has not done it before. So yes, still not convinced why suddenly he thought she will leave him due to didi.🤷 Matlab aaj toh she never once even said that Adi should bhi back to didi or ask about her getting settled or even that she is not convinced about KC - matlab she just saw them hug and was shipping them one episode back. So Imlie right now is not thinking about sending him to didi yet, so use kahaan se ye thoughts aaye pata nahi🤷. Hence me saying that there was something missing that would have tied it all together.
