Do you watch all movies with subtitles even if you understand the language? I still watch English speaking languages with subtitles coz I swear it’s hard to understand sometimes.

You should watch ‘The Witch’. Movie was creepy in an artsy way but spoken in Biblical English. I didn’t understand a word that was said 🤣

SAME! I’m so dependent on reading subtitles that I can’t focus or understand any movie without it.

It's screenplay, it never build towards the xlimax, rather was a random mix up of shots. I don't mind non-linier, but coherence should be there, and even if incoherent, it should be intriguing. The Witch wa neither.
