So I'm on a slightly different page. I think he's apologized and repented sufficiently for the drama at the Deshmukh house that night, and I'm with not stretching this further. He used both his words, and his actions. Pallavi is perceptive enough to realize what it must have taken for a man as proud as him to take those repeated blows at his ego and self esteem at the hands of her family, but he was relentless. And what sold me is the very genuine and to the point "I've wronged you a lot, I'm so very sorry. Just go, live your life and be happy now" when he was sending her to Kohlapur. I have closure on that plotline, so I am okay with no further discussion.
What I really do need to see is that just because it's forgiven, doesn't mean it's forgotten. We see it with Raghav, he's still plagued by the guilt, which is good- he should be. But that's also why I'm really not liking how hard and fast Pallavi is falling, and how she's acting like a giggly schoolgirl with a crush in some episodes. Like, the washroom scene yesterday was done well, but they're making her tooooo in love in my view. I would like her to have some more reservations about jumping headfirst.
And the conversation and verbal apologies I do want are for all the pre-marriage tortures. Those can't be included in the whole 'I've wronged you' because, yikes. The truck, the constant shop related blackmail, all should be addressed. She still doesn't know why this man kidnapped her and tied her in front of a speeding truck. Mujhe woh waale conversations chahiye.
