I feel like there were some riots between tulsipur and krishnanagar . (Thus the flashback of ani beating people)

Then batuk or someone must have gotten shot or killed. Kaka must have blamed ani and ani had left the house in guilt. And both kaka and ani are trying to avenge batuks death in different ways
