@bold- That has been my gripe since the beginning the track. He is never shown to be thinking/working towards a feasible future for Purvi Nd himself. And on that case then all the romance n pyaar in the world is useless, and cringe worthy, IMO!

@italics- This entire track has been so badly written that I fall short of words. The Purvi-sakshi equation, at best, should have been polite indifference! The badi behen-choti mukhiyain, pyar-maan-samman ki baatein were so sickening! Both women are in their own delusional worlds, believing that Vir is so shallow that he will move back and forth between the 2 of them, solely based on availability. Sakshi believes that he grew attached to Purvi coz she herself was missing, and not both of them feel that the mere physical absence of Purvi will reset Vir's emotions to 5 years ago.

In this Vipul track, Purvi's character has been degraded even worse than Sakshi! Her treatment of Vir and Vipul, all for Sakshiji's happiness, has been disgusting!

@underlined - This track has forever broken something in me. I may watch the show once Sakshi goes away, I may even enjoy it...but the love, the adulation, the sheer adoration I had for PurVir will never be restored.

Manasi, you should watch Vir-Sakshi convo in Wed epi. Watching that section clarifies 2 things -

- Vir is a very good husband and will remain one till the end, no matter what kind of wife he has. Period. In a rage of anger, he might max yell at her, show some disgust, but nothing more than that.

The treatment he had metted out to Purvi- the abuses he had hurled during her birthday, and the umpteen times she was dragged to panchayat will not be done for his wife Sakshi. That is the price Purvi will have to pay for not being able to become his wife!

- Even though Purvi lied to him after swearing, etc, he knows clearly that whatever Purvi is doing is under Sakshi's presssure. He is very much aware that Sakshi's intentions are malicious, but does not take drastic measures to correct it on purpose, just hoping she will realize her mistake on her own.

Just like Shree, you & I were discussing previously, then what was his long term plan for Purvi? None.

Sakshi's monologue after Vir expressing his disgust towards her - for a split second she thinks that Purpul marriage is going to break her own marriiage and she will lose Vir. At that moment, I was wondering if she would now flip and request purpul to not get married! :) But she corrects herself and thinks that she should not become weak and give up, but continue with her determination of getting Purpul married off. She continues to hope that the rift between her & Vir will lessen after Purpul marriage.

Why is Sakshi so convinced that Vir will come to her sooner or later? It is because of Vir's words. He says that he will give her the respect as his wife, will never deprive her of that right. He also goes on to say that he loves Purvi deeply, but time will heal the heartbreak he has from being away from Purvi, which may even take the entire lifetime. This is what assures her that she can get him back after Purvi is out of sight, esp when married to someone else and has a family of her own. To get what she wants, Sakshi stoops to the lowest level, she is viciously manipulative to everyone. While doing so, she is oblivious that she can never get back her old life.
