Again as I said, I am not defending her acting prowess in any way. I had said in an earlier post, that Malini is somewhat tolerable if she is either being all saccharine sweet, or reacting to other people. She looks passable in those kind of scenes, but is a chore to watch in her individual or emotional scenes. I just wanted to point out that in that breakdown scene she already had a tough time trying to show the required emotions and saying her monologue. Uspe the absurd dialogues just added to the troll worthy performance.

GM always cries the best. Use aise hi hum bahu nahi bulate😆. Today Sumbul was at par, if not a lil bit better.

It is a good one. I had so much fun reading the detailed analysis of why these actors are so delusional about their actual role they are playing.

Today the most ROFL dialogue was didi's - mujhe toh laga tha ki sab kuch sambhaal lungi

Matlab laati kaha se hai yeh itni confidence

Mayuri was good in Adini break up scene where she questions Adi.

Then in AdiNi fight in their bed room.

Another AdiNi fight in living room.

Even the beating up Imlinder was good

Basically as NM said may be it's the fighting side of Mayuri that reflect in Malini. 😆

But she fell flat on romance, basic emotions , dialogue delivery, crying (I hate it ), comedy , nokjoks etc

Basically she was OK until she had to do the trophy saccharine stuff the moment it required complexity complexity she started falling even more flat and is actually pathetic and cringe. She can only do put on fakeness half decently

While I refuse to defend Malini's character in any way, but my unpopular opinion here is I feel somewhere Mayuri was let down even by her monologue that was absurd. Matlab acting chodo, wod dialogues were so OTT and weird, that the entire scene feel flat and dragged everything down with it.

In comparison they smartly did not give Sumbul any dialogues, so she used only her expressions to convey her turmoil. I feel that also played a big role in making that scene that much more impactful. Her inner tussle was reflected in those imagination scenes, where again she did not have to say any stupid platitudes or absurd rants. So she focused only on showing her emotions through that complete breakdown before Adi came.

Yes, She don't need dialogue yaar... She is best actor and even her character.... I can't think any other actor for Imlie and Aditya's character........

Wohi toh. All scenes where she had someone to take onus on the scene and all she has to do is react. She can pull of reactions decently well and being saccharine sweet. Baaki her emotional range is limited to that only.
