Yes, and the wife is not her daughter.. she ain't her flesh and blood.

Ahaan ko middle class life ke baare mein 0 knowledge hai but Malhotras gareeb the🤣

Chachu does not seem to be a strong enough character who would do it all on his own.

They've just used that gareeb thing, aiveyin.

Maybe by ghareeb she meant, the business wasnt doing well and suffering due to the dad's "janwar" nature and alcoholism - i actually FFEd most of Savi stuff ... so i didnt watch what all she said. And maybe it's better i didn't ... it could have made sense where she ran away to save herself and her kids , and got a job to support herself.

I agree with Ishqi though, hum middle class logo ka na romance aisa hi hota hain🤣 Take me out of the middle class but you can't take the middle class out of me--classy dates and expensive gifts are still not my thing, meko sasta, sundar, tikaau restaurant mein leke jaao I'll be so impressed ke wow launda kitna smart hain meri tarah 🤣🤣

Disappointed with such poor backstory

They should've kept it to just itna ki

They were rich people but Ahaan's father used violence on his wife.

And Dadi could only say ki Savvy had an affair with another man and so she left for him.

Inko gareeb dikhane ka koi sense hi nai.

The Malhotra siblings have had a comfortable childhood with none of them having a clue about a middle class life.

Yes, I think it is poor writing and loophole. Just to make Savitri bechari, they used gareeb the. Malhotras never seemed garib.

Maybe Savitri's definition of Garib is different like Ananya Pandey's struggle definition 😆

I am gonna assume that only. Maybe Savitri being in mental hospital, her meomery is distorted😆. Anyways I don't like such mess up in the background story. very poor writing.
