so i do get you point of him feeling guilty i dont necessarily agree on his being drwoning in guilt cos the end result would have been same.. with ot without KC.

and if he is going to feel guilty then malini will never move on as whatever said she has seen such a toxic relationship of her parents.. aditya has become her crutch.. its difficult for her to move on without him.. till she get epiphany of love she would never be able to move on..

Exactly on the her having issues moving on. She never will be able to completely move on, as Adi ka guilt will not be able to see her clinging on to him. That's my point. This entire drama of duboing him in guilt isbto shutter his senses from picking up the signs that Malini is stil in love with him and has not moved on. When he finds the truth, that guilt will be the reason that he will listen to what Imlie says rather than fight her. See guilt plays a huge role in Adi's decision making. That was why his guilt at not noticing that Nishant was sick got him to agree with Imlie to delay the divorce. Same way if after knowing the KC truth if Imlie says that we will not officially start our married life till didi is settled, or if something goes wrong, then he will agree, coz he has the guilt of not noticing that she was lying. This entire build up is to have both of them in guilt to pander to whatever Malini says or does and forgive her for any despicable act she may do, on the basis that she is hurt so she is like this🤦.

Looks like I am channeling either Adi ya GM, I can't decide. But jo bhi woh khuda ki kasam, lajawab hai. So yes today I seem to be on a role to make people understand his thinking behind the nonsense he was spouting. Waise kya lag raha tha yaar (inserting Imlie's nazar utaarna gif here)
