I think for me to be able to watch the a show, one of the Lead characters must be good, side characters should also be interesting. Here I can easily ignore Amrik and Gurpreet.

The first show I used to follow and understand was EK's shows like Kasam Se or Kahin To Hoga.

I hope the episode isn't released too late today.

Me too, Simar was such a rondu man... I was forever amazed by the capacity of her tear ducts. I bet she used 2 bottles of glycerin a day😆

I gave up on the show within the first 15 episodes or so, where her MIL's first demand from a DIL was to make the perfect Kheer... *sigh*

Oh yes I've been waiting for the updates.

🤪I think in most shows the DIL prepares something like that Kheer.

Actually itv has its staples. Sweet, too kindhearted female lead (sometimes she is over the top, sometimes she is feisty, or simple "just not like other girls"). There is no really grey-shaded female leads. I don't remember seeing one which short hair like bob cut or something.

When characters are just nice and mostly cries, viewers do not really see a character arc or growth. Unless it's like a shy girl, or someone working on their dreams and grows a backbone, but it's mostly saas bahu.🤔

I actually liked Beyhad. I loved watching psycho Maya despite all the shortcomings of the script, and i didn't really ship any leads together. Not even Saanjh and Arjun, or Maya and Rudra.

I'm expecting too much again 😆

what was amazing about them and what made them different?

The actors were great? The chemistry was sizzling? Or just they had a solid script? 🤔🤔

God how I wish to see an itv FL with short hair and not get prejudiced against. I mean practical women usually prefer short hair as its more convenient in day to day life. But I guess our thinking is still 20 years ahead since FLs with short hair can't have a bun hairstyle on their weddings so the makers avoid it.

Never really watched Beyadh so can't comment on that.

So true. In most cases women are either vamps or doormat. I feel like the female side characters are better written. Only vamps have bob cuts and wear modern clothes in ITV because clearly all good women dress up in sarees and 5 kg of jewellery everyday.

Sonakshi from KRPKAB had kinda short hair post leap. I liked her as a character, she actually had a career and went to work which is rare for ITV. I feel like Dev the ML and his mom were given more shades than her, but she was still a pretty good FL by ITV standards.

I haven't seen Beyhadh but I like Jennifer Winget so I'm pretty sure she would have done a good job as Maya. She was amazing in the promos.

Oh yes, Sonakshi from Kuch Rang. I really liked her. For me the best thing of the show was Sonakshi. I watched some episodes maybe around 100 or so. The girl definitely knew when to leave and post leap also I liked her.

I didn't like Ishwari at all, she was unbearable plus she kept victimising herself

🤣 Yeah, they have to plan head. I think only the vamps would rock their haircuts while for FL's it's was the straight hair then the curly hair era, now it's a bit of both. 😆

Lol that pun though.

This is the reason why despite hating the villain's character I can't help but be biased towards them owing to their fashionable clothes and dazzling hairstyles. Same with Jasso, in today's episode she looked so pretty with that hairstyle (the one in the orange suit)
