Yeah I know they started discussing everything from morning itself.

Actually I am not on a TT or Insta so I have not that much idea about it.

But it's good if you are happy after deleting your account.

Same same same. I know we all come from different walks of life and will have different approaches. I just didn't realize that some progressive mindset will hit a wall when it meets the status quo. I'm happy for those that make the compromises and can live with it. Anokhi has never been shown to be like that. She wants what she wants, how she wants it, and I respect that outlook. I can't wait for her to be the voice of change in the Sabherwal household.

Even i was waiting for shaurya shaan to speak something but glad Anokhi spoke when shaurya was told to shut up. Her stand was not just because she wanted astha to be a part of the rituals but also because shaurya also wanted her to be there as his mother. She is not only taking a stand for aatha but also for shaurya tbh.

Totally agree. I think people underestimate Anokhi's grasp of the situation. She has seen Devi deal with Aastha and herself. She is supportive of Shaurya wanting Tejvi as part of his happiness, but she knows how much he misses his mother. If he wants Tejvi, he gets them. She wants Shastha, she gets them. In all this, Shaurya really wins with 2 sets of parents(if one set wasn't completely so fake with their love).

Shaurya got no chill he is romance deprived as much as we are 1 -2 days and we might see a good hug or something

His misogyny is still there and it will be dealt with. So happy. Devi tried to manipulate shaurya that how anokhi never prioritized him and shaurya gave it back to her. Hope this doesnt change in future 🙏 is it too much to ask expect ??

They just got married and Devi really got to work there! At this point, I feel like she's poking until she finds an opening. Shaurya can't be perfect, so I'm okay with seeing some chinks in the armor. I just want his righteousness to be kept intact, just as Anokhi's is. I can't handle a Virat 2.0.
I hope anokhi starts addressing everybody the way shaurya addresses them. Calls astha maa and shaan papa. Waitinh for precious moment.

I loved todays episode. I know we are romance deprived but still 😆 so they have laid the foundation stone for future conflicts and plotting. Astha issue is still not resolved definitely there is more to the astha's backstory.

This is a new direction for SAAKK. Dealing with familial issues along with SIAC stuff. I want them to keep a balance, because Anokhi can be bahu and student together. And NO kitchen politics. I don't want a Sai 2.0 either.

Loved shaan giving it back to alok. His comment was distasteful. I hope this new sasur bahu jodi bevome goals in near future. I would love to see their bond

I hope Shaan goes back to being admissions time Shaan and loves Anokhi like he used to. He's onboard with his son's happiness, but I just want him to continue to keep that spine straight and protect his kids from his evil family too.

Exactly....Anokhi is impulsive. She believes in asking for forgiveness later than asking for permission first. It might not be the best approach always, but it's the approach that's gotten her this far. And it's the approach that Shaurya loves. I hope they keep Anokhi's spark!

Shaurya's misogyny was really regressive, so we supported anokhi expecting a change in him. Why didn't we say there that she should love him the way he is? Anokhi's shortcomings are not as evident as Shaurya's, so we expect her not to change. If his misogyny is problematic, her overly feminist nature can be a problem too. Maybe we are just being biased towards another female? She's bold and I like her that way. But she also needs to learn k har ladhai talwaar uthake nahi ladhi jaati, Kuch ladhaiyaan ek kadam peeche hatkar bhi jeeti jaati hain! She's not just a student of Sabherwals anymore, she's their family member, if not necessarily a bahu! There's a difference in your conduct when you are talking to your family and when you are talking to the outsiders. She needs to learn this. She needs to learn when to go all bold and when to take a pause!

Being the bride-to-be myself, I can totally understand her. Even I used to freak out at everything in the initial days. And now I thank my mom for what she taught me. She didn't tell me to behave the way Rama told Anokhi. But she told me to be just an observer for a few months, some people in sasural might be better than what I thought them of and some could be worse than what I believed them to be. I have peace of mind now and I know how to behave with each of them and we all are a happy family now. I want Anokhi to take this pause and not go all guns blazing from day 1!!!

So I have a hard time comparing Shaurya's misogyny(prejudice against women) to Anokhi's feminism(equality of the sexes). One was wanting to maintain the status quo of patriarchy and the other is asking for equality. Shaurya's is a flaw and Anokhi's is a trait.

As for Anokhi's approach to situations, we won't agree on that since we're different people with different experiences. I can only speak from my point of view and respect yours. I was raised and live in a different country and don't have these separations in my head about my life before and after marriage. I looked at it like I gained more family and never looked at it like I needed to change anything about me. My spouse married me and not necessarily a bahu for his family, just like I didn't marry to have a damaad in mine. I can also have this mindset because I have a very 'eff you' kind of personality.

I watched my mother be that quiet bahu in my dad's family. They might not say anything disrespectful about her, but she didn't gain anything from being submissive. She found herself when we left that for the US and she got to be her true self. I don't live in my sasuraal, so I don't know what that's like or the adjustments that are made. I adjust because more than one person in a space requires it, but not because the other person is my bhabhi, jeeja, saas, or devar!

"Ask forgiveness, not permission" I think this is Anokhi's approach. I may disagree with her in the future, but right now, I'm at her side!

We're just different people Anuja and that's what makes these conversations interesting and keeps the forum buzzing!
